ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) is deactivated due to afault. For this
reason, ESP ®
(Electronic Stability Program), BAS (Brake Assist),
BAS PLUS* (Brake Assist PLUS), PRE-SAFE ®
,P RE-SAFE ®
Brake*,
the HOLD function, hil lstart assist and ESP ®
trailer stabilisation
are also deactivated, for example.
The brake syste mcontinues to function normally,b ut without the
functions listed above. Therefore, the wheels coul dlock if you
brake hard.

The antifreeze/corrosio ninhibitor concentra-
tio nint hecoolin gsystem should:
R be at least 50%. This will protect th ecooling
system against freezing down to around
-3 7†.

down to -4 5†)otherwise heat will no tbe
dissipated as effectively.
If th evehicle has lost coolant, to pitupwith
equal amounts of wate rand antifreeze/cor-
rosion inhibitor. Mercedes-Ben zrecom-
mends that you only use an antifreeze/cor-
rosion inhibitor whic hhas been approved by
Mercedes-Benz.

! If you fit tyres other than those tested and
recommended by Mercedes-Benz,c harac-
teristics such as handling, noise levels and
fuel consumption, etc. may be adversely
affected. In addition, when driving with a
load, tyre dimensional variations could
cause the tyres to come into contact with
the bodywork and axle components. This
could result in damage to the tyres or the
vehicle.

system are not equipped with the TIREFIT

additionally equip your vehicle with the
TIREFIT kit* when fitting tyres that do not
feature run-flat properties, e.g. winter
tyres.
