OPENING THE FUEL-FILLER DOOR
The fuel-filler door automatically unlocks
when the driver’s door is unlocked.1. Unlock the fuel-filler door using one of the following operations:
∙ Unlock the driver’s door with the key fob.
∙ Push the power door lock switch to the unlock position.
∙ Push the door handle request switch (with the Intelligent Key in range). 2. To open the fuel-filler door, push the
right side of the fuel-filler door to re-
lease.
To lock, close the fuel-filler door securely
and lock the doors.

CAUTION
∙ Do not use a fuel containing morethan 15% ethanol in your vehicle. For
additional information, refer to “Fuel
recommendation” in the “Technical
and consumer information” section of
this manual.
∙ The Loose Fuel Cap warning message will be displayed/warning will appear
if the fuel-filler cap is not properly
tightened. It may take a few driving
trips for the message to be displayed.

Loose Fuel Cap warning
The Loose Fuel Cap warning appears in the
vehicle information display when the fuel-
filler cap is not tightened correctly af ter the
vehicle has been refueled. It may take a few
driving trips for the message to be dis-
played. To turn off the warning, perform the
following:1. Remove and install the fuel-filler cap as soon as possible. For additional infor-
mation, refer to “Fuel-filler cap” in this
section.
2. Tighten the fuel-filler cap until it clicks. 3. Press the

Pull the lock lever1down:
∙ Adjust the steering wheel up or down in direction
2to the desired position.
∙ Adjust the steering wheel forward or backward in direction
3to the desired
position.
Push the lock lever
1up firmly to lock the
steering wheel in place.
AUTOMATIC OPERATION (if so
equipped)
Tilt and telescopic operation
To adjust the steering wheel move the
switch
1in the following directions:
∙ Adjust the steering wheel up or down in direction
2to the desired tilt position.
∙ Adjust the steering wheel forward or backward in direction
3to the desired
telescopic position.

Entry/Exit function (if so
equipped)
The automatic drive positioner system (if
so equipped) will make the steering wheel
move up automatically when the driver’s
door is opened and the ignition switch is in
the LOCK position. This lets the driver get
into and out of the seat more easily. The
steering wheel moves back into position
when the driver’s door is closed and the
ignition switch is pushed.

down the sun visor

2. To block glare from the side, remove the sun visor from the center mount
and swing the visor to the side

VANITY MIRRORS
To access the vanity mirror, pull the sun
visor down and flip open the mirror cover.
Some vanity mirrors are illuminated (if so
equipped) and turn on when the mirror
cover is open.
CARD HOLDER
To access the card holder located on the
ceiling, pull the driver’s side sun visor down
and slide the card into the card holder

Do not view information while operating
the vehicle.
MANUAL ANTI-GLARE REARVIEW
MIRROR (if so equipped)
Use the night position1to reduce glare
from the headlights of vehicles behind you
at night.
Use the day position
2when driving in
daylight hours.

OUTSIDE MIRRORS
The outside mirror remote control will op-
erate only when the ignition switch is in the
ACC or ON position.
Move the small switch
1to select the lef t
or right mirror. Adjust each mirror to the
desired position using the large switch
2.
Move the small switch
1to the center
(neutral) position to prevent accidentally
moving the mirror.
