When you meet either the above-mentioned
Power is supplied
through BCM terminal 51
to each door lock actuator terminal 2
Ground is supplied
to each door lock actuator terminal 3
through BCM terminal 50.
Each door lock actuator unlocks the door lock
When the front door switch (driver side) is ON (door is OPEN), ground is supplied
to BCM terminal 62
through front door switch (driver side) terminal 2
through front door switch (driver side) case ground.
When the front door switch (passenger side) is ON (door is OPEN), ground is supplied
to BCM terminal 12
through front door switch (passenger side) terminal 2
through front door switch (passenger side) case ground.
When the rear door switch LH is ON (door is OPEN), ground is supplied
to BCM terminal 63
through rear door switch LH terminal 2
through rear door switch LH case ground.
When the rear door switch RH is ON (door is OPEN), ground is supplied
to BCM terminal 13
through rear door switch RH terminal 2
through rear door switch RH case ground.
KEY REMINDER DOOR SYSTEM
When door lock and unlock switch is operated to lock doors with ignition key put in key cylinder and or door
open, all door lock actuators are locked and then unlocked.
VEHICLE SPEED SENSING AUTO DOOR LOCK FUNCTION
When the vehicle speed exceeds more than 26 km/h (16MPH), all doors are automatically locked.
After auto door is locked, and once again the door lock is released, this function does not operate.
This function returns to the normal operation when either opening doors or turning key switch OFF.
After operating shock sensing auto door unlock function, this function does not operate until key is
released. (For vehicle with intelligent key, until key switch is turned to OFF.)
OVERRIDE MECHANISM
When an inside handle is pulled while driver side door lock knob is being locked, door is unlocked and opens.
And, all doors are unlocked.
CAN Communication System DescriptionBIS000VX
CAN (Controller Area Network) is a serial communication line for real time application. It is an on-vehicle mul-
tiplex communication line with high data communication speed and excellent error detection ability. Many elec-
tronic control units are equipped onto a vehicle, and each control unit shares information and links with other
control units during operation (not independent). In CAN communication, control units are connected with 2
communication lines (CAN H line, CAN L line) allowing a high rate of information transmission with less wiring.
Each control unit transmits/receives data but selectively reads required data only.
