Illuminates the indicator that indicates the operating status of front heated seat LO or HI mode.
FRONT SEAT : Component Function CheckINFOID:0000000003841923
1.CHECK FUNCTION
Check that the related indicator lamp illuminates when front heated seat switch is set to LO or HI mode.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Front heated seat switch indicator function is OK.
NO >> Refer to SE-37, "

1.CHECK FRONT HEATED SEAT SWITCH INDICATOR
Check front heated seat switch indicator.
Which side of the indicator does not illuminate?
Only LO mode or HI mode>> GO TO 3.
Both LO mode and HI mode>> GO TO 2.
2.CHECK FRONT HEATED SEAT SWITCH INDICATOR POWER SUPPLY
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect front heated seat switch connector.
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Check voltage between front heated seat switch harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3.
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
3.CHECK FRONT HEATED SEAT SWITCH
Check front heated seat switch.
Refer to SE-38, "
FRONT SEAT : Component Inspection".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES-1 >> LO or HI mode is NG: GO TO 4.
YES-2 >> LO and HI modes are NG: INSPECTION END
NO >> Replace front heated seat switch. Refer to SE-104, "
FRONT SEAT : Removal and Installation".
4.CHECK FRONT HEATED SEAT SWITCH INDICATOR CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect front ventilation seat control unit connector.
3. Check continuity between front heated seat switch harness connector and front ventilation seat control
unit harness connector.

HEATED SEAT SWITCH INDICATOR
4. Check continuity between front heated seat switch harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace front ventilation seat control unit. Refer to SE-93, "Disassembly and Assembly".
NO >> Repair or replace harness.

1.CHECK FRONT HEATED SEAT SWITCH
1. Turn ignition OFF.
2. Disconnect front heated seat switch connector.
3. Check front heated seat switch terminals.
*For a digital tester.
NOTE:
When check is performed using an analog tester, the polarity (+) and (–) becomes inverse.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Front heated seat switch is OK.
NO >> Replace front heated seat switch. Refer to SE-104, "
FRONT SEAT : Removal and Installation".
REAR SEAT

Turns ON the indicator that indicates the operating status of rear heated seat LO or HI mode.

1.CHECK FUNCTION
Check that the related indicator lamp illuminates when rear heated seat switch is set to LO or HI mode.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Rear heated seat switch indicator function is OK.
NO >> Refer to SE-39, "
REAR SEAT : Diagnosis Procedure".

1.CHECK REAR HEATED SEAT SWITCH INDIACTOR
Check rear heated seat switch indicator.
Which side of the indicator does not turn ON?
Only LO mode or HI mode.>>GO TO 3.
Both LO mode and HI mode.>>GO TO 2.
2.CHECK REAR HEATED SEAT SWITCH INDICATOR POWER SUPPLY
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect rear heated seat switch connector.
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Check voltage between rear heated seat switch harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3.
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
3.CHECK REAR HEATED SEAT SWITCH
Check rear heated seat switch.
Refer to SE-40, "
REAR SEAT : Component Inspection".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES-1 >> LO or HI mode is NG: GO TO 4.
YES-2 >> LO and HI modes are NG: INSPECTION END
NO >> Replace rear heated seat switch. Refer to SE-105, "
REAR SEAT : Removal and Installation".
4.CHECK REAR HEATED SEAT SWITCH INDICATOR CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect rear ventilation seat control unit connector.
3. Check continuity between rear heated seat switch harness connector and rear ventilation seat control unit
harness connector.
4. Check continuity between rear heated seat switch harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?

3.CHECK FRONT VENTILATION SEAT SWITCH
Check front ventilation seat switch.
Refer to SE-42, "
FRONT SEAT : Component Inspection".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4.
NO >> Replace front ventilation seat switch. Refer to SE-106, "
FRONT SEAT : Removal and Installation".
4.CHECK FRONT VENTILATION SEAT SWITCH INDICATOR CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect front ventilation seat control unit connector.
3. Check continuity between front ventilation seat switch harness connector and front ventilation seat control
unit harness connector.

YES >> GO TO 4.
NO >> Replace rear ventilation seat switch. Refer to SE-107, "
REAR SEAT : Removal and Installation".
4.CHECK REAR VENTILATION SEAT SWITCH INDICATOR CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect rear ventilation seat control unit connector.
3. Check continuity between rear ventilation seat switch harness connector and rear ventilation seat control
unit harness connector.
4. Check continuity between rear ventilation seat switch harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace rear ventilation seat control unit. Refer to SE-100, "Disassembly and Assembly".
