Replace thewiper blades ifthey areworn.
Before replacing thewiper blades, thewiper should be
in the fully upposition toavoid scratching theengine
hood ordamaging thewiper arm.To pull upthe wiper
arm, seeªWiper andwasher switchº (P.2-47) .
1. Liftthe wiper armaway fromthewindshield.
2. Push andhold therelease tab

the wiper blade downthewiper armtoremove

3. Remove thewiper blade.
4. Insert thenew wiper blade ontothewiper armuntil
it clicks intoplace.
CAUTION:
. After wiper blade replacement, returnthe
wiper armtoits original position. Otherwise
the wiper armorthe engine hoodmaybe
scratched andmay cause damage whenthe
engine hoodisopened.
. Worn wiper blades candamage thewind-
shield andimpair drivervision.

4. Remove theaircleaner duct.(SeeªEngine

5. Remove thefuse/fusible linkbox cover byusing a
suitable tooland pushing thetab.
6. Locate thefuse thatneeds tobe
replaced.

the passenger compartment.

switch comes fromthefactory switched off.Prior to
delivery ofyour vehicle, theswitch ispushed in
(switched on)and should always remainon.
If the extended storagefuseswitch isnot pushed in
(switched on),the ªShipping ModeOnPush Storage
Fuseº warning mayappear inthe vehicle information
display .See ªVehicle information displaywarnings and
indicatorsº (P.2-28) .
If any electrical equipment doesnotoperate, remove
the extended storagefuseswitch andpush itin again.
