Dipped/Main beam change Pull the stalk towards you. Note:with the ignition off, if the dri-
ver's door is opened, a buzzer sounds if you have left your lights on. Front fog lamps* and rear fog lamp Rotate the ring forwards to switch on
and backwards to switch off. The statusis confirmed by the light on the instru-ment panel.
Vehicles fitted with a rear fog lamp (ring B)
Rear fog lamp
This operates with the dipped/main beam headlamps.

In good or rainy weather, both day and night, therear fog lamp is dazzlingand is prohibited. Do not forget to switch
the fog lamp off when it is no lon- ger needed.

Automatic timed windscreen wipers* In the AUTOposition, the wind-
screen wipers operate automatically and adapt their speed to the intensi-ty of the rainfall.
Operating check ActivationWhen the function is activated, the message "Automatic windscreen
wiping active" appears on the mul-
tifunction display. Switching off
Switching off the function is accom- panied by an audible signal. In the event of malfunction, the driver is informed by an audible signal andthe message "Auto windscreen
wiper faulty" on the multifunction
display. In the event of malfunction in the
AUTO position, the windscreen
wiper will operate in intermittentmode.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to have the system checked.

stops, the windscreen wiper changes to a lower wiping speed, then resumesits initial speed when the vehicle startsagain. When the ignition has been swit- ched off for more than a minute with
the control in the AUTO* position, itis necesary to reactivate this func-tion. To do this, move the control to any
position, then move it back to the
AUTO* position.
Screenwash and headlamp wash* Pull the windscreen wiper stalk towards you. The windscreen wash then the wind- screen wipers operate for a fixed
period. The headlamp wash ope-rates simultaneously for a fewseconds, only if the dipped beam
or main beam headlamps are on.

ADJUSTING THE HEADLAMPS Depending on the load in your vehicle, adjusting the beam of theheadlamps is recommended as fol-lows. 0 1 or 2 people in the front seats.

Initial setting is position 0. HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS Press the button, the direction indi- cators flash. They can operate with the ignition
off. Automatic lighting of hazard warning lights* When braking in an emergency (depending on the force of decelera-tion), the hazard warning lights come
on automatically. They switch offautomatically the first time you acce-lerate.
However, it is also possible to switch
them off by pressing the button.
