This locks the engine control system

The ignition key has an electronic

When the alarm is triggered, the siren

Disarming

Note: if the alarm has been triggered

Failure of the remote control
U n l o c k t h e d o o r s w i t h t h e k e y

triggered.
S w i t c h o n t h e i g n i t i o n . T h e a l a r m
is disarmed.
Incorrect operation
W h e n t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o n , i f
button A lights for ten seconds, there
is a fault in the siren connection.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to have
the system checked.
Automatic activation
The alarm is activated automatically
t w o m i n u t e s a f t e r t h e l a s t c l o s u r e o f a
door or the boot.
In order to avoid accidental triggering
o f t h e a l a r m w h e n a d o o r o r t h e b o o t
i s o p e n e d , i t i s e s s e n t i a l t o i r s t p r e s s
the unlocking button on the remote
control.
If the alarm has been triggered
ten times in succession, on
the eleventh time it becomes
inactive.
If button A i n d i c a t o r l i g h t l a s h e s
r a p i d l y , t h e a l a r m h a s b e e n t r i g g e r e d
w h i l e y o u w e r e a w a y f r o m y o u r
vehicle.
4 5 s e c o n d s f o l l o w i n g p r e s s i n g o f t h e
locking button on the remote control,
the alarm is set, regardless of the
status of the doors or boot.
