F o r m a x i m u m s a f e t y , p l e a s e f o l l o w
t h e s e p r e c a u t i o n s :
- i n a c c o r d a n c e w i t h D i r e c t i v e
2003/20, all children under
the age of 12 or less than one
m e t r e i f t y * t a l l m u s t t r a v e l i n
approved child seats suited to
their weight , o n s e a t s i t t e d w i t h a
seat belt or ISOFIX mountings * ,
- statistically, the safest seats in
your vehicle for the transpor-
tation of children are the rear
seats,
- a child weighing less than 9 kg
must travel in the "rearwards-
facing" position both in the
front and in the rear.
PEUGEOT recommends t h a t c h i l -
dren should travel in the rear seats
o f y o u r v e h i c l e :
- "rearwards-facing" u p t o t h e

Installing a booster seat

The incorrect installation of a child
s e a t i n a v e h i c l e c o m p r o m i s e s t h e
c h i l d ' s p r o t e c t i o n i n t h e e v e n t o f a n
accident.
Remember to fasten the seat belts or
the child seat harnesses
keeping the
slack in relation to the child's body to
a m i n i m u m , e v e n f o r s h o r t j o u r n e y s .
F o r o p t i m u m i n s t a l l a t i o n o f t h e " f o r -
w a r d f a c i n g " c h i l d s e a t , e n s u r e t h a t
the back of the child seat is in contact
w i t h t h e b a c k o f t h e v e h i c l e ' s s e a t
and that the head restraint does not
cause any discomfort.

If the system does not function
