OPEN
Retractable roof The operation of the roof is the
exclusive responsibility of the
driver.
To avoid any risk of injury when
operating the roof, ensure that no
one is standing near the moving
parts.
You are strongly advised not to
operate the roof in strong winds. When washing your vehicle:
- lock the vehicle using the
remote control or the key,
- avoid spraying the upper part of the windows,
- keep the end of the high pre ssure nozzle at least 1 metre from the
windows and door seals.
When the vehicle has been
washed or after rain, wait until the
roof has dried before opening it. It is preferable to operate the roof
with the engine running and the
vehicle stationary.
The roof can be operated at a
speed below 6 mph (10 km/h).
After the roof has been operated
fully four times in succession, the
system switches to prote ction
mode temporarily to avoid dama ge
to the roof motors. Let the system
rest for approximately ten minutes;
if you are unable to ope rate the roof
after this time, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer.
Preliminary conditions

 Switch on the ignition.

 Make absolutely sure that:
- the vehicle is not in energy economy mode (refer to the corresponding
section),
- the battery voltage is suffi cient (switching on of the roof control indi-
cator light),
- the roof fuse is in good condition (re- fer to the corresponding section),
- the electric windows are initialised (see corresponding section),
- the exterior temperature is higher than -15 °C.
Precautions to be taken before
operating the roof

 Park the vehicle on level ground.

 Check that no objects could hinder
the operation of the roof:
- nothing should be placed on the moving rear shelf 1 , on the boot
screen 2 or on the side trims 3 ,
- if luggage is transported in the boot, it must not lift the boot
screen,
- any objects, such as a jacket or umbrella, placed in the boot, must
be secured using the luggage
retaining net 4 .

 Check that the boot screen 2 is
secured fi rmly.

 Close the boot correctly.

Opening the roof
 Pull this control until the
roof opening operation is
complete.
Closing the roof
 Press this control until the
roof closing operation is
complete.
Change to "cabriolet" confi guration:
- the four windows lower partially,
- the boot opens,
- the roof folds into the boot,
- the boot closes.

Change to "coupé" confi guration:
- the four windows lower partially,
- the boot opens,
- the roof unfolds and locks automati- cally,
- the boot closes.
To ensure that the roof operates cor-
rectly, do not release the control while
the roof is moving.
However, in the event of any danger,
release the control, the roof stops; then,
once the danger had been eliminated,
complete the movement required.
Operating fault
If a malfunction of the roof occurs,
apply the handbrake, switch off
the ignition, start the engine again,
then start the operation required
again.
If the problem persists, contact a
PEUGEOT dealer. The electric window controls and
the control for all four windows
are deactivated while the roof is in
operation.
The end of the manoeuvre is confi rmed
by an audible signal and a message on
the multifunction display.

control after the end of the ma-
noeuvre, the four windows rise.

This dimmed lighting of the passenger
compartment facilitates visibility inside
the vehicle when the light is poor.

Incorporated in each front head restraint,
this heating system improves your
comfort around the neck in cold weather,
particularly in the "cabriolet" confi gura-
tion. It operates most effe ctively with the
windstop installed in the raised position.

The glove box and the front armrest are

longitudinal position of the front armrest
can be adjusted.
It also offers a storage compartment. As
a security measure when in the "cabriolet"
confi guration, this is locked at the same
time as the rest of the vehicle, using the
remote control or the key only.
As a safety precaution, it is
imperative that these operations
are carried out when stationary.

General menu

 Press button 1 to gain access to the
general menu and select one of the
following functions:
- "Vehicle parameters",
- "Selection of the language",
- "Selection of the units".

 Press button 2 or 3 to move on the
screen.

 Press button 1 again to confi rm the
selection. Vehicle parameters
This menu allows you to activate or
deactivate certain driving and comfort
equipment:
- selective unlocking (refer to the
"Accesses" section),
- follow-me-home and welcome lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- ambient lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- daytime lights (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- directional headlamps (refer to the "Visibility" section).
Selection of the language
This menu allows you to select the lan-
guage used by the display: Deutsch,
English, Espanol, Français, Italiano,
Nederlands, Portugues, Türkçe * .
Selection of the units
This menu allows you to select the units:
temperature (°Celsius or °Fahrenheit)
and consumption (l/100 km, mpg or km/l).

This group of buttons permits:
-
when stationary
,stationary confi guration
of the vehicle's equipment and
of the parameters of the display
(languages, units...),
- while driving
, scrolling of the
active functions (trip computer,
navigation...).
Controls
There are four buttons to control the in-
strument panel 16/9 large display:

1. access the general menu, confi rm
the selection,

2. move up through the menu,

3. move down through the menu,

4. return to the previous screen, exit
from the menu. The general menu and its associated
functions can only be accessed
when stationary, via buttons
1 to 4 .
A message appears on the display,
above a certain speed threshold,
indicating that the general menu
cannot be displayed.
The trip computer displays can
only be accessed while driving, via
buttons 2 and 3 (refer to the "Trip
computer" paragraph).

Foot on brake.
Press the brake pedal to start
the engine with the automatic
gearbox.
Specifi c operation indicator lights
The other indicator lights appear on the
large display, located in the centre of
the instrument panel.
Automatic locking.
If this is displayed, it indicates
that you have activated the
automatic locking of the doors
and boot while driving.
Speed limiter.
If this is displayed, it indi-
cates that you have activa-
ted the speed limiter mode.
If this is displayed, it indi-
cates that you can set the
speed limiter speed value to
be stored. Cruise control.
If this is displayed, it indicates
that you have activa ted the
cruise control mode.
If this is displayed it indi-
cates that you can set the
cruise control speed value
to be stored.
Automatic gearbox.
Automatic wiping.
If this is displayed, it indicates
that you have activated the
automatic windscreen wiping.
Automatic lighting.
If this is displayed, it indicates
that you have activated the
automatic switching on of the
headlamps. This display indicates the gear
engaged in the automa tic or
manual operation programme.
This display indicates the ope-
rating programme selected
(automatic, sport, snow or
manual).
This display indicates the posi-
tion that you have selected on
the gear selection gate (P, R, N
or D).

Deactivation warning lights
If one of the following warning lights
comes on, this confi rms that the corres-
ponding system has been switched off
intentionally. Passenger's air bag system
deactivation.
The passenger's air bag system
is put into service automatically
when the vehicle is started.
A specifi c control, located on the pas-
senger's side of the fascia, permits
deactivation of the system. This is con-
fi rmed by continuous lighting of this
warning light on the instrument panel or
on the seat belt and passenger's front
air bag warning lights display. Dynamic stability control
(ESP/ASR) deactivation.
The ESP/ASR system is put
into service automatically when
the vehicle is started.
A specifi c button, located in the centre
of the fascia, permits deactivation of
the system. This is confi rmed by conti-
nuous lighting of this warning light and
of the indicator light on the button.
From approximately 30 mph (50 km/h),
the system is reactivated automatically.

that you have deactivated the
automatic switching on of the
headlamps.
