2-SEAT FRONT BENCH

If your vehicle is fitted with this bench seat,
it is fixed and has a
3rd seat belt.
Head restraint

Press the tab to adjust the height of the
head restraint.
To remove the head restraint, press the tabs
and raise the head restraint.
The ad
justment is correct when the upper
edge of the head restraint is level with the
top o
f the head.

Never drive with the head restraints
removed; they must be in place and
ad
justed correctly.

CAB FITTINGS

Depending on the vehicle's equipment, the
various fittin
gs below enhance your cab.
Glove box
This is fitted with a lock, you can lock it
us
ing the key.
It
contains three sockets for the connection
o
f portable electronic equipment (video
equipment, ...
) if the vehicle is fitted with a
colour screen.
It also contains cup holders and
compartments for storing maps, a packet of
cigarettes, an A4 format document, a pen, etc.

Sun visor

To prevent dazzle from ahead, fold the sun
vi
sor down.

A pocket is provided in the driver's sun visor
for storing toll cards, tickets, ...

Overhead storage unit
This is located above the sun visors and has

storage unit, located in the extension of the
vehicle's roof between the rear space and

he cab, allows long objects to be carried.
Take care to support and wed

securely.

For raised vehicles, a shelf located above

he overhead storage unit can be used to
store small objects and materials (straps,

Automatic operation
The
front courtesy lamp comes on when
the ke
y is removed from the ignition, when
the vehicle is unlocked, when one o

front doors is opened and for location of the

goes off gradually after the ignition is
switched on and when the vehicle is locked.

These are switched on and o

The athermic windscreen has two non-
reflective zones located either side of the
base of the interior mirror.
The
y are intended for affixing toll cards
and/or car park tickets.
Front courtesy lamp
If the doors remain open for a few minutes,
the courtes
y lamps go off.

CREW CAB

Bench seat

The crew cab consists of a 3-seat bench,
located in row 2, the one-piece back of
which is fixed to the "load retainer"
glazed
partition.

Access to the rear seats is via the sliding
side door.
Head rests and seat belts
Each seat has a head rest adjustable for
height and angle.
The three seats are equipped with inertia
reel seat belts. The seat belts are inte
gral
with th
e backrest of the bench seat.
En
sure that the seat belt is attached to the
correct buckle.
F
or more information on the use of this
equipment, refer to "Seat belts" in section 4.

Good practice

The rear seat belt stalks are not designed for securing the load transported. Use the lashing rings on the floor only.
Th
e bench seat of the crew cab is not suitable for the installation of a child seat.


Rear side glasses

If fitted to your vehicle, the side glasses can
be opened.

Squeeze the two controls together then slide
the window. There are 4 position notches.
When driving, the glass should be closed or
secured at one of the 4 notches.

LOAD SPACE FITTINGS

Locations for lashing rails

Locations for fitting a lashing rail are
available on each side of the vehicle.
Lashing rings
Use the lashing rings on the rear floor to
secure your loads.
As a safet
y precaution in case of sharp
braking, you are advised to place heavy
ob
jects as far forwards towards the cab as
poss
ible.
You are advised to immobilise the load b
y
securing it firmly using the lashing rings on
th
e floor.

Trims

The lower parts of the sides are fitted with
load protection trims.


Roof box on raised version

This is a storage compartment located in the
load space, above the cab roof.

This operates with the ignition on.

front passengers against the risk of load

Panel or glazed separation partitions permit
separation of the load space from the cab.


Ladder type vertical separation or partition

Behind the driver's seat, a ladder type

paration or partition protects the
driver a
gainst the risk of load movement.

Rear suspension


Metal suspension
This equipment adopts long movement limiters
which make it possible to
guarantee stable
behaviour both when loaded and when empt
y.
No action on your part is required except to
ensure that maintenance is carried out and that
the authorised loads are com
plied with.irrespective o
f the weight of the load, within
the limit of the authorised values.
On board,
the increasin
g or lightening of the load on
the vehicle's plat
form is detected by two
hei
ght sensors. When all of the doors are
closed, the sensors trigger the automatic
hei
ght correction and determine the optimum
hei
ght of the sill for the vehicle's driving
conditions.
Deactivation of automatic height correction
The control which permits deactivation o
f
automatic re
gulation is located on the right-
hand side, at the rear of the vehicle.
REAR SUSPENSION
You must deactivate automatic height
correction manually in the following
situations:


- when working underneath the vehicle,

- when changing a wheel,

- when the vehicle is being transported by
lorry, train, ferry, boat, ...
Two t
ypes of suspension are available.

Rear suspension with pneumatic height correction

If fitted on your vehicle, this type of
suspension regulates the variations in the
height of the rear platform of your vehicle

1 - Automatic correction of the
height of the rear sill
The pneumatic suspension automatically
re
gulates the variations in the height of the
rear plat
form of your vehicle.
A red warning light on your
instrument panel
fl ashes if the
height is not at its optimum level
and requires correction, drive slowl
y
until this warning lamp goes off.
The automatic hei
ght correction is
temporar
ily inactive:


- if a door / the tailgate is open,

- when braking or when stopped at a red
traffic signal (brake pedal pressed).
With the vehicle stationary:


- press and hold,

- release the control.

Return to automatic correction

With the vehicle stationary:


- press and hold,

- release the control.

According to the configurations, a beep may
be heard durin
g these operations.

is on. It remains on for approximatel

30 seconds.
Return to automatic hei
ght correction is
confirmed by the LED which goes off.
