Radio Card
YYoouurr ccaarr aauuddiioo sseett ppaappeerrss
Includes model, series number and code number for codifying.
The series number is identical to the number printed on the side of
the sethousing.
The radio card gives proof of the property of the set, helps police
search should the setbe lost and speeds up the compensation
paperwork with the insurance company.
Remove the radio card and store it in a safe place. Never leave it
inside the car.

Antitheft protection
CCooddiinngg
If with the code on (see chapter "PROGSystem") the car audio is
removed from the battery (for instance, when replacing the battery
at a workshop) the set will be electronically blocked.
You can only activate it again by introducing the correct code
number.

Traffic safetySwitching ON/OFF
This press button allows you to:
– Switch on/off
– Volume setting
– Sound setting
– Geometricssetting

You can connect the audio set by inserting a CD if button Ais out
and the IGN/ON function is activated.

If with the audio system on the contact key is removed the set will
disconnect automatically.
If the key is introduced again and turned in the contact, the audio
system is connected automatically

Operation for limited time periods (1 hour)
With the car audio set off and the contact key removed press main
controlA.
In this way, the set will run for 1 hour and will switch itself off
automatically after this time. If you turn the key in the contact
during thishour period will disconnect the function (limited time
function).
To switch off the set before the hour has elapsed press the main
control
Aagain.
You can switch on the set any time you wish.
With the car audio set on and the key in the lock but without the
contact on the set will remain on for 2 hours and will switch itself
off automatically after this period of time.

Mobile phone or radiotelephone function
The car audio set can be connected to a mobile phone or a radio
telephone.While these accessories are in operation the volume is reduced to
the PROGSystem set volume. In this operation mode you can set
the tone, fader, and balance values. Changed values are stored in
memory. See chapter "PROGSystem" (car audio muting). The
screen will display "PHONE".

PROG settings

To help handling the car audio includes the PROG system. It allows
you to carry out settings which are only required once or
incidentally.

Confirming functions
This car audio is factory set so that when you activate certain keys
a brief confirmation signal is heard.
In the "PROGSystem" chapter you will find out how to get rid off
this warning signal with the "BEEP" function (Beep off).
Now, instead of a warning signal, when you press the keys the loud
speakers will mute.

Amplifier
With the main controlAyou can adjust the volume and the fader
(FAD), balance (BAL), bass (BASS) and treble (TREB).
The selected function shows up on the display screen.
If you keep the adjustkey pressed you achieve the average value
(itis shown by the functions confirmation signal).
For instance, bass adjusting:
Press the BASS key briefly.
Now, with then main control
Ayou can change the bass
performance value.
To return to the average bass value hold the BASS key pressed
until you hear the warning sound.

Operation modes
The set allows you to switch between various sources:
– Radio (BAND and "RDS" keys)
– CD ("CD" key)
– CD changer ("CD6" key)
If you are provided with a CD changer connected to the car audio,
and a CD inserted, you can switch directly between both sources of
sound by using the "CD" and "CD6" keys.
For instance: If when listening to the radio you briefly press key
"CD" the CD will switch on. By pressing the "CD6" key the CD will
stop and the "CD" function will be switched on.
To return to the radio function again you need to use the "BAND" or
"RDS" keys.
