entertainment system turns on.

■Before using the remote
controller
1 Remove the insulating sheet
before using the remote con-
troller.
■When the remote controller
batteries are fully depleted
1 Remove the cover.
2 Remove the depleted batter-
ies and install new batteries.
 Use two AA batteries.
 Make sure to install the bat-
teries with their + and - termi-
nals oriented correctly.
●If the remote contr oller batteries
are discharged, the following
symptoms may occur.
• The remote co ntroller will not
function properly.
• The operational range is reduced.
●Batteries can be purchased at
Toyota dealer, electric appliance
shop, or camera stores.

using the vehicle’s audio con-
trols. All other operations must
be made on the audio/visual
equipment itself.
For details about operation of
audio/visual equipment, refer to
the manufacturer’s instructions.

• Do not bend either of the battery terminals.
