Sensus Navigation
Sensus Navigation enables you to set itineraries, search for certain types of points of interestalong your route, store special destinations,obtain traffic information en route, etc.
Sensus Navigation shows the vehicle's exact location and if you deviate from the set route, thesystem can make the necessary adjustments toguide you to your destination. Being familiar with the contents of this manual will help you to fully utilize the features and func-tions offered by Sensus Navigation. By enabling you to reach your destination quickly and by the most direct route, Sensus Navigationalso helps contribute to improving the environ-ment.

Buttons and information on the map
The map on the center display contains different function buttons, symbols, types of roads andinformation about the area around the vehicleand along the selected route.
Text and symbols on the map
The vehicle's current location and a button for viewing the itinerary
Map scale
List of guidance points in the itinerary
Remaining distance to the destination/esti- mated time of arrival and a button for chang-ing headers
Button for listing the itinerary's Points of Interest (POI) and traffic information

Navigation displays and controls
Volvo Sensus Navigation is presented on the instrument panel and head-up display * and con-
trolled using center display on-screen buttons, the right-side steering wheel keypad and voicecommands.
Center display
Searching for and setting destinations and mak- ing navigation settings are done on the centerdisplay. If the map is not showing on the center display, tap
Navigation at the top of the center display's
Home view.
Instrument panel
During a trip, the driver receives visual guidance on the instrument panel and voice guidancethrough the infotainment system's speakers.
Right-side steering wheel keypad and instrument panel
Some of the navigation system's functions, such as Take me home, are controlled from the right-
side steering wheel keypad.

CoordinatesA destination can also be set by entering its map coordinates.
• For example, enter: "N 58.1234 E 12.5678" and tap
Search/.
Map coordinates can be written in different ways, such as:
N 58.1234 E 12.5678 (with spaces)
N 58.1234 E12.5678 (without spaces)
58.1234 N 12.5678 E (with the points on the
compass after the coordinates)
58.1234 -12.5678 (with a hyphen without the
points on the compass)
Both periods [.] and commas [,] can be used.

Setting a destination using Recent/ Favorites/Library Selecting from a list is one way of setting a des- tination.
To display these lists:
1. Tap
Set dest. in the lower
margin. A keyboard will be dis- played with search alternativesin the upper margin. 2. Continue by selecting one of the lists in the upper margin:

•Favorites
•Library
After marking an alternative, it will be added as a destination by tapping the Start navigation orAdd as waypoint buttons.
Recent
This is a list of all searches that have been made. Scroll through the list and select. This menu alternative is also available in the instrument panel and can be displayed using theright-side steering wheel keypad (see also thearticle "Navigation system displays and controls").

Fuses in the passenger compartment
The fuses in the passenger compartment help protect electrical components such as the 110-volt socket, displays and door modules.
Positions
• Fuses 1, 3–21, 23–36, 39–53 and 55–59 are called "Micro".
• Fuses 2, 22, 37–38 and 54 are called"MCase" and should only be replaced by atrained and qualified Volvo service technician.FunctionA

1. Remove the soil/dust with a soft brush.
2. Same procedure as for type I stains.
CAUTION
Sharp objects, such as rings, could damage the leather on the steering wheel.
Leather panels *Leather should be allowed to breath. Never cover the upper side of the dashboard or door panelswith a plastic protector. Ask your Volvo retailerabout Leather Care Kit 951 0251 and LeatherSoftener 943 7429.
Spots on interior plastic, metal, or wood
surfaces
Cleaning interior plastic components should bedone with a cleaning agent specially designed forthis purpose. Consult your Volvo retailer.
CAUTION
• Do not use cleaning agents with high alcohol content such as washer fluid toclean instrument panel glass.
• Never spray cleaning agents or waterdirectly onto components with electricalbuttons or controls. Clean components ofthis type by applying the cleaning agent/water sparingly to a cloth and wiping thecomponents so that no liquid penetratesinto these components.
Cleaning the seat beltsClean only with lukewarm water and a mild soap solution.
Cleaning floor matsThe floor mats should be vacuumed or brushedclean regularly, especially during winter whenthey should be taken out for drying. Spots on tex-tile mats can be removed with a mild detergent.For best protection in winter, Volvo recommendsthe use of Volvo rubber floor mats. Consult yourVolvo retailer.
WARNING
•
Never use more than one floor mat at a time on the driver's floor. Before driving,remove the original mat from the driver'sseat floor before using any other type offloor mat. Any mat used in this positionshould be securely and properly anchoredin the attaching pins. An extra mat on thedriver's floor can cause the acceleratorand/or brake pedal to catch. Check thatthe movement of these pedals is notimpeded.
• Volvo's floor mats are specially manufac-tured for your car. They must be firmlysecured in the clips on the floor so thatthey cannot slide and become trappedunder the pedals on the driver's side.
