to remove the bolt (push rod).

Be sure to use the set pin. If the set pin is
not used, the power valve constituent parts
will result in damage.

1. Remove:

NOTE:
Before removing the piston pin clip, cover the
crankcase with a clean rag to prevent the pis-
ton pin clip from falling into the crankcase cav-
ity.
2. Remove:

NOTE:
Before removing the piston pin, deburr the clip
groove and pin hole area. If the piston pin
groove is deburred and piston pin is still difficult
to remove, use the piston pin puller 4.

N.B.:
Insérer la goupille de fixation 3com-
prise dans la trousse à outil du proprié-
taire pour déposer le boulon (champi-
gnon de débrayage).

Utilisez la goupille de fixation. En
n’utilisant pas la goupille de fixation,
vous risquez d’endommager les com-
posants de la servovanne.
Piston et segment
1. Déposer:
9Agraf d’axe de piston 1
N.B.:
Avant de retirer l’agrafe d’axe de pis-
ton, couvrir le carter avec un chiffon
propre de fa!con à ne pas faire tomber
accidentellement l’agrafe dans le carter.
2. Déposer:
9Axe de piston 1
9Piston 2
9Coussinet de pied de bielle 3
N.B.:
Avant de retirer l’axe de piston,
débourrer le sillon de l’agrafe et la
région du trou de l’axe.
Si l’axe de piston est encore difficile à
enlever alors que sa gorge est décalami-
née, utiliser l’extracteur d’axe de piston
4.

Ne pas utiliser de marteau pour chas-
ser l’axe de piston.

1. Ausbauen:

HINWEIS:
Den in dem Werkzeugsatz enthalte-
nen Stellstift 3einsetzen, um die
Schraube (Schubstange) zu entfer-
nen.

Sich vergewissern, daß der Stell-
stift benutzt wird. Bleibt der Stell-
stift unbenutzt, ergeben sich
Beschädigungen an den Bestand-
teilen des Leistungsventils.
Kolben und Kolbenringe
1. Ausbauen:
9Sicherungsring des Kolbenbol-
zens 1
HINWEIS:
Vor dem Abnehmen des Stifts des Kol-
benbolzens ist das Kurbelgehäuse mit
einem sauberen Lappen abzudecken,
so daß der Stift nicht versehentlich in
das Kurbelgehäuse fällt.
2. Ausbauen:
9Kolbenbolzen 1
9Kolben 2
9Pleuelfußlager 3
HINWEIS:
Vor dem Entfernen des Kolbenbol-
zens sind die Sicherungsringnut und
Bolzenbohrung zu entgraten. Wenn
die Kolbenbolzennut entgratet ist und
der Kolbenbolzen nur schwer ausbau-
bar ist, den kolbenbolzenabzieher 4
verwenden.

Keinen Hammer verwenden, um
dem Kolbenbolzen auszutreiben.

Prima di togliere il fermaglio a graffa
dello spinotto, coprire il carter con uno
straccio pulito per evitare che il ferma-
glio a graffa dello spinotto cada nella
cavità del carter.
2. Togliere:

9Cuscinetto dell’estremità picco-
la 3
NOTA:
Prima di togliere lo spinotto, sbavare la
zona della scanalatura del fermaglio a
graffa e del foro dello spinotto. Se la
scanalatura dello spinotto è sbavata e lo
spinotto è ancora difficile da togliere,
usare l’estrattore per spinotto 4.

Use a rounded scraper 1.
NOTE:
Take care to avoid damaging the spark plug
threads. Do not use a sharp instrument. Avoid
scratching the aluminum.
2. Inspect:
9Cylinder head water jacket
Crust of minerals/Rust Remove.
9Cylinder head warpage
Out of specification Re-surface.
Warpage measurement and re-surface-
ment steps:
9Attach a straightedge 1and a thickness
gauge 2on the cylinder head.
9Measure the warpage.
9If the warpage is out of specification, resur-
face the cylinder head.
9Place # 400~600 grit wet sandpaper 3on
the surface plate, and re-surface the head
4using a figure-eight sanding pattern.
NOTE:
Rotate the cylinder head several times to
avoid removing too much material from one
side.
Warpage limit:
0.03 mm(0.0012 in)
3. Remove:
9Piston ring 1
NOTE:
Take care not to scratch the piston or damage
the piston ring by expanding it more than neces-
sary.

pouréviter d’enlever trop de matière
d’un côté.

INSPEKTION
