Thetachometerdisplaystheenginespeedinrev-
olutionsperminute(RPM).
Thebeginningoftheredzoneinthetachometer
indicatesthemaximumpermissibleenginespeed
forallgearsoncetheenginehasbeenbrokenin
andwhenitiswarmeduptooperatingtempera-
ture.Before reachingthiszone,youshouldshift
intothenexthighestgear,selectthe"D/S"selec-
torleverposition,orremoveyourfootfromthe
acceleratorpedal.
