Rear Vision
Camera (RVC)
If equipped, the RVC displays aview of the area behind the vehiclewhen the vehicle is shifted intoR(Reverse).Thedisplaywillappearon either the inside rearview mirroror navigation screen, if equipped.

Parking Assist
If equipped, Rear Parking Assist(RPA) uses sensors on the rearbumper to assist with parking andavoiding objects while inR(Reverse). It operates at speedsless than 8 km/h (5 mph) and usesaudible beeps to provide distanceand system information.
Keep the sensors on the vehicle'srear bumper clean to ensure properoperation.

Power Outlets
The accessory power outlets can beused to plug in electrical equipment,such as a cell phone or an MP3player.
The vehicle may have twoaccessory power outlets on theinstrument panel.

The vehicle may have a tractioncontrol system that limits wheel spinand the StabiliTrak system thatassists with directional control of thevehicle in difficult driving conditions.Both systems turn on automaticallyevery time the vehicle is started.

If the key is unintentionally
rotated while the vehicle is
running, the ignition could be
moved out of the RUN position.
This could be caused by heavy
items hanging from the key ring,
or by large or long items attached
to the key ring that could be
contacted by the driver or
steering wheel. If the ignition
moves out of the RUN position,
the engine will shut off, braking
and steering power assist may be

deploy. To reduce the risk of
unintentional rotation of the
ignition key, do not change the
way the ignition key and Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter,
if equipped, are connected to the
provided key rings.
The ignition key and key rings, andRKE transmitter, if equipped, aredesigned to work together as asystem to reduce the risk ofunintentionally moving the key outof the RUN position. The ignitionkey has a small hole to allowattachment of the provided key ring.It is important that any replacementignition keys have a small hole. Seeyour dealer if a replacement key isrequired.
The combination and size of therings that came with your keys werespecifically selected for yourvehicle. The rings are connected tothe key like two links of a chain toreduce the risk of unintentionally
moving the key out of the RUNposition. Do not add any additionalitems to the ring attached to theignition key. Attach additional itemsonly to the second ring, and limitadded items to a few essential keysor small, light items no larger thanan RKE transmitter.

When the engine starts, theparking lamps will turn on andremain on while the engine isrunning. The doors will belocked.
The engine will continue to runfor 10 minutes. After30 seconds, repeat the steps ifa10-minuteextensionisdesired. Remote start can beextended only once.
After entering the vehicle during aremote start, insert and turn the keyto ON/RUN to drive the vehicle.
The maximum number of remotestarts between ignition cycles withthe key is two.
If the remote start procedure is usedagain before the first 10 minute timeframe has ended, the first10 minutes will immediately expireand the second 10 minute timeframe will start.
After the engine has been remotestarted two times, the ignition switchmust be turned to ON/RUN and then
back to LOCK/OFF using the keybefore the remote start procedurecan be used again.

.Press and hold/until the
parking lamps turn off.
.Turn on the hazard warningflashers.
.Turn the ignition on and thenback off.
The remote vehicle start feature willnot operate if:
.The key is in the ignition.
.The hood is open.
.The hazard warning flashersare on.
.There is an emission controlsystem malfunction. SeeMalfunction Indicator Lamp(Check Engine Light)0102.
.The engine coolant temperatureis too high.
.The oil pressure is low.

Door Locks
{Warning
Unlocked doors can be
dangerous.
.Passengers, especiallychildren, can easily openthe doors and fall out of amoving vehicle. When adoor is locked, the handlewill not open it. The chanceof being thrown out of thevehicle in a crash isincreased if the doors arenot locked. So, allpassengers should wearsafety belts properly and thedoors should be lockedwhenever the vehicle isdriven.

Sliding Door
To o p e n t h e s l i d i n g s i d e d o o r f r o mthe outside, pull the handle towardthe rear of the vehicle and slide thedoor open.
To c l o s e t h e s l i d i n g s i d e d o o r f r o mthe outside, use the handle to slidethe door toward the front of thevehicle.
When the door is closed, it will beflush with the side of the body.
To o p e n t h e s l i d i n g s i d e d o o r f r o mthe inside, pull the handle towardthe rear of the vehicle. Then, slidethe door toward the rear of thevehicle.
To c l o s e t h e s l i d i n g s i d e d o o r f r o mthe inside, grasp the handle andslide the door toward the front of thevehicle.
Make sure the door is completelyclosed before driving away.
Rear Doors

Heated Mirrors
For vehicles with heated mirrors:
1:Press to heat the mirrors.
An indicator light in the button lightswhen the outside heated mirrors areactivated.

Interior Mirrors
Interior Rearview Mirrors
Adjust the rearview mirror for a clearview of the area behind the vehicle.
Do not spray glass cleaner directlyon the mirror. Use a soft toweldampened with water.
Manual Rearview Mirror
Push the tab forward for daytimeuse and pull it rearward fornighttime use to avoid glare of theheadlamps from behind.
Cargo vans without rear door glassmay not have an inside rearviewmirror.
Windows
{Warning
Never leave a child, a helpless
adult, or a pet alone in a vehicle,
especially with the windows
closed in warm or hot weather.
They can be overcome by the
extreme heat and suffer
permanent injuries or even death
from heat stroke.

Child restraints built after March2014 will be labeled with thespecific child weight up to which theLATCH system can be used toinstall the restraint.
The following explains how to attachachildrestraintwiththeseattachments in the vehicle.
Not all vehicle seating positions orchild restraints have lower anchorsand attachments or top tetheranchors and attachments. In thiscase, the safety belt must be used(with top tether where available) tosecure the child restraint. Lower Anchors
Lower anchors (1) are metal barsbuilt into the vehicle. There are twolower anchors for each LATCHseating position that willaccommodate a child restraint withlower attachments (2).
Top Tether Anchor
Atoptether(3,4)anchorsthetopofthe child restraint to the vehicle.Atoptetheranchorisbuiltintothevehicle. The top tetherattachment (2) on the child restraintconnects to the top tether anchor inthe vehicle in order to reduce theforward movement and rotation ofthe child restraint during driving or inacrash.
The child restraint may have asingle tether (3) or a dual tether (4).Either will have a singleattachment (2) to secure the toptether to the anchor.

Speedometer
The speedometer shows the vehiclespeed in kilometers per hour (km/h)and miles per hour (mph).
Odometer
The odometer shows how far thevehicle has been driven, in eitherkilometers or miles.
Trip Odometer
The trip odometer shows how farthe vehicle has been driven sincethe trip odometer was last reset.
The trip odometer is accessed andreset through the Driver InformationCenter (DIC). SeeDriverInformation Center (DIC)0108.
Fuel Gauge
Metric

The fuel gauge, when the ignition ison, indicates how much fuel is left inthe vehicle fuel tank.
An arrow on the fuel gaugeindicates the side of the vehicle thefuel door is on.
The gauge first indicates emptybefore the vehicle is out of fuel, andthe fuel tank should berefueled soon.
Listed are four situations customersmight experience with the fuelgauge. None of these indicate aproblem with the fuel gauge:

.At the gas station, the fuel pumpshuts off before the gaugereads full.
.It takes a little more or less fuelto fill up than the fuel gaugeindicated. For example, thegauge may have indicated thetank was half full, but it actuallytook a little more or less thanhalf the tank's capacity to fillthe tank.
.The gauge moves a little whileturning a corner or speeding up.
.The gauge does not go back toempty when the ignition isturned off.

Engine Oil Pressure

The oil pressure gauge shows theengine oil pressure in psi (poundsper square inch) or kPa (kilopascals)when the engine is running.
Oil pressure may vary with enginespeed, outside temperature and oilviscosity, but readings above thelow pressure zone indicate thenormal operating range.
Areadinginthelowpressurezonemay be caused by a dangerouslylow oil level or other problemcausing low oil pressure.
