- T i g h t e n t h e b o l t s a g a i n u s i n g t h e wheelbrace, tighten them fully
without forcing them.
- P l a c e t h e w h e e l t o b e r e p a i r e d i n the carrier. - S e c u r e t h e c a r r i e r o n t h e h o o k t h e n
raise the carrier using the bolt and
the wheelbrace.
Never go underneath a vehicle
t h a t i s s u p p o r t e d o n l y b y a
j a c k ( u s e a r a m p ) . N e v e r u s e
a s c r e w d r i v e r i n p l a c e o f t h e
wheelbrace .
5. FITTING THE SPARE WHEEL
- Position the wheel on the hub and
start tightening the bolts by hand.
- C a r r y o u t a n i n i t i a l t i g h t e n i n g o f t h e bolts using the wheelbrace.

A l s o , h a v e t h e o r i g i n a l w h e e l r e p a i r e d
a n d r e fi t t e d b y a C I T R O Ë N d e a l e r a s
s o o n a s p o s s i b l e . R e f e r t o t h e " I d e n t i fi c a t i o n
m a r k i n g s " s e c t i o n o f c h a p t e r 8 t o
locate the tyre label.
According to country, the removable
snow screen is installed on the lower
p a r t o f t h e f r o n t b u m p e r t o p r e v e n t t h e
accumulation of snow at the radiator
cooling fan.
FITTING
REMOVAL
- Pass a screwdriver into the hole
l o c a t e d n e a r e a c h o f t h e c l i p s .
- Use the screwdriver as a lever to u n c l i p t h e f o u r c l i p s B in turn.
- O f f e r u p t h e s n o w s c r e e n f a c i n g i t s
c e n t r i n g p i n A o n t h e f r o n t b u m p e r .
- P u t i t i n p l a c e b y p r e s s i n g a t e a c h c l i p B located in the four corners.
R e f e r t o t h e " I n s t r u m e n t s a n d
c o n t r o l s " s e c t i o n o f c h a p t e r 2 ,
" T y r e u n d e r - i n fl a t i o n d e t e c t i o n "
p a r t , f o r r e c o m m e n d a t i o n s a f t e r

C a r r y o u t t h e o p e r a t i o n s i n r e v e r s e
o r d e r t o r e fi t e a c h b u l b a n d c h e c k t h a t
the bonnet is closed securely.
Type C
Halogen bulb: release the
r e t a i n i n g s p r i n g f r o m i t s
housing.
Type B
B a y o n e t b u l b : p r e s s
on the bulb then turn it
a n t i c l o c k w i s e .
Halogen bulbs must be changed
w i t h t h e h e a d l a m p o f f . W a i t a f e w
m i n u t e s ( r i s k o f s e r i o u s b u r n s ) .
Do not touch the bulb directly with your
fi n g e r s , u s e l i n t - f r e e c l o t h s .
It is normal for condensation to form
i n s i d e t h e h e a d l a m p s . R e g u l a r u s e o f
the vehicle eliminates this misting. T h e b u l b s m u s t b e c h a n g e d w i t h
the ignition off or with the battery
d i s c o n n e c t e d . W a i t a p p r o x i m a t e l y
3 minutes after changing the bulb
before reconnecting the battery.
C h e c k t h a t t h e l i g h t s o p e r a t e c o r r e c t l y
a f t e r e a c h o p e r a t i o n .
W h e n u s i n g t h i s t y p e o f w a s h i n g
o n s t u b b o r n d i r t , d o n o t p e r s i s t
o n t h e h e a d l a m p s , t h e l i g h t s a n d
their surround to avoid damaging their
coating and their seal.

- R e m o v e t h e b u l b b y p r e s s i n g it lightly while turning it
a n t i c l o c k w i s e .

- E n s u r e t h a t t h e c o v e r i s r e fi t t e d c o r r e c t l y o v e r i t s e n t i r e p e r i p h e r y
to guarantee sealing.

- R e m o v e t h e b u l b h o l d e r fi t t e d b y p r e s s u r e b y p u l l i n g t h e c o n n e c t o r .
- C h a n g e t h e b u l b .
- E n s u r e t h a t t h e c o v e r i s r e fi t t e d c o r r e c t l y o v e r i t s e n t i r e p e r i p h e r y
to guarantee sealing.
FRONT LIGHTS
1. Dipped headlamps/Main beam

- R e m o v e t h e c e n t r e c o v e r b y p u l l i n g t h e fl e x i b l e r u b b e r t a b .
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- R e l e a s e t h e r e t a i n i n g t a b .
- C h a n g e t h e b u l b t a k i n g c a r e t o a l i g n t h e m e t a l p a r t w i t h t h e
grooves on the light.
- R e p o s i t i o n t h e r e t a i n i n g t a b .
- E n s u r e t h a t t h e c o v e r i s r e fi t t e d c o r r e c t l y o v e r i t s e n t i r e p e r i p h e r y
to guarantee sealing.

- R e m o v e t h e t h r e e m u d g u a r d fi x i n g c l i p s , l o c a t e d b e l o w t h e b u m p e r .
- M o v e t h e m u d g u a r d u p w a r d s .
- U n c l i p t h e f o g l a m p b y s q u e e z i n g t h e c l i p t o r e l e a s e i t .

R e m o v e t h e f o g l a m p f r o m t h e o u t s i d e . - T u r n t h e y e l l o w c o v e r a 1 / 4 t u r n t o o p e n . - S e p a r a t e t h e c l i p s w h i c h s e c u r e the base of bulb on each side to
release the bulb.
- R e m o v e t h e b u l b b y p u l l i n g , k e e p i n g i t s t r a i g h t .
- Insert the new bulb, re-tighten the c l i p s a r o u n d t h e b a s e o f t h e b u l b
a n d c a r r y o u t t h e o p e r a t i o n s i n
r e v e r s e o r d e r t o p u t t h e l i g h t u n i t
a n d t h e b u m p e r b a c k i n p o s i t i o n . SIDE REPEATER
Type A , WY 5W (amber)

front.

side of the courtesy light.
- Pull the bulb and change it.

REAR LIGHTS
- I d e n t i f y t h e f a u l t y b u l b t h e n o p e n t h e r e a r d o o r s t o 1 8 0 ° .

- R e m o v e t h e t w o fi x i n g b o l t s u s i n g t h e s c r e w d r i v e r s t o r e d i n t h e t o o l k i t
under the right-hand seat.
- Pull the light unit from the outside.
- Holding the light, disconnect the electrical connector.
W h e n r e fi t t i n g , t a k e c a r e t o
r e p o s i t i o n t h e t a b s a n d t h e s u p p l y
w i r e c o r r e c t l y t o a v o i d t r a p p i n g t h e
wire.
After changing the rear direction
indicator bulb, the reinitialisation time is
m o r e t h a n a p p r o x i m a t e l y 2 m i n u t e s .
- M o v e a s i d e t h e 4 t a b s t h e n e x t r a c t
the bulb holder.
- R e m o v e t h e f a u l t y b u l b b y p r e s s i n g i t l i g h t l y w h i l e t u r n i n g i t
a n t i c l o c k w i s e .
- C h a n g e t h e b u l b .

- Unscrew the two nuts.

- If necessary, disconnect the connector to remove the light.

screwdriver.
- C h a n g e t h e b u l b .
- R e p l a c e t h e p l a s t i c l e n s a n d p r e s s on it.
THIRD BRAKE LIGHT

With hinged doors
- U n c l i p t h e i n t e r i o r t r i m .
- Disconnect the connector by moving aside its tab.
- T u r n t h e b u l b h o l d e r a q u a r t e r t u r n a n t i c l o c k w i s e .
- C h a n g e t h e b u l b .
- P u t t h e b u l b h o l d e r b a c k i n p l a c e and reconnect the connector.
- P u t t h e t r i m b a c k i n p l a c e .
