Changing direction indicator bulbs
)Turn the bulb holder a quar ter of a turn andextract it. )Pull out the bulb and change it.
To r e f i t , c a r ry out these operations in reverseorder.
Changing dipped beam headlamp bulbs
)
Remove the protective cover by pulling the
tab. ) Disconnect the bulb connector. )
Spread the springs to release the bulb. )
Pull the bulb out and change it.
To r e f i t , c a r ry out these operations in reverseorder.
Rapid flashing of the direction indicator warning lamp (right or left) indicates the failure of a bulb on that side.
When refitting, close the protective cover carefully to preser ve the sealing
of the headlamp.
Amber coloured bulbs, such as thedirection indicators, must be replacedwith bulbs of identical specificationsand colour.

)On the front bumper, unclip the cover by pressing at the bottom. )Screw the towing eye in fully. )Install the towing bar. )Place the gear lever in neutral (position Nfor an electronic or automatic gearbox).
)On the rear bumper, unclip the cover by pressing at the bottom. )Screw the towing eye in fully. )Install the towing bar. )Switch on the hazard warning lamps on both vehicles. )Move off gently and drive for a shor tdistance only.

Failure to obser ve this special condition could result in damage to cer tain components (braking, transmission...) and the absence of braking assistance the next time the engine is star ted.

Braking
To w i ng a trailer increases the braking distance.
To a v o i d o v e r h e a t i ng of the brakes on a long
mountain type of descent, the use of enginebraking is recommended.
Tyres
)
Check the tyre pressures of the towing
vehicle and of the trailer, obser ving the
recommended pressures.
Lighting
)
Check the electrical lighting and signallingon the trailer.
The rear parking sensors will bedeactivated automatically if a genuineCITROËN towbar is used.
Cooling
To w i ng a trailer on a slope increases the
temperature of the coolant.
As the fan is electrically controlled, its coolingcapacity is not dependent on the engine speed. )To lower the engine speed, reduce your
speed. The maximum towed load on a long incline
depends on the gradient and the ambient
temperature.
In all cases, keep a check on the coolant
temperature.
) If the warning lamp and the STOPwarning lamp come on, stop the vehicle and switch off
the engine as soon as possible.

Installation of radiocommunicationtransmitters
Before installing any after-market radio communication transmitter, you cancontact a CITROËN dealer for thespecification of transmitters which canbe fitted (frequency, maximum power,aerial position, specific installation requirements), in line with the VehicleElectromagnetic Compatibility Directive(2004/104/EC).
Depending on the legislation in forcein the country, it may be compulsory to have a high visibility safety vest, warning triangle and spare bulbs andfuses available in the vehicle.
By going to a CITROËN dealer, you can also
obtain cleanin
g and maintenance products (interior and exterior) - including ecologicalproducts in the "TECHNATURE" range - products for topping up (screenwash fluid...),
touch up pens and paint aerosols for the exact
colour of your vehicle, recharges (cartridge for
