General points relating to child seats
Although one of CITROËN main criteria when designing your vehicle, the safety of your children also   depends   on   you.

he   regulations   on   carrying   children   are

pecific   to   each   country.   Refer   to   the

egislation   in   force   in   your   country.
For
  maximum   safety,   please   observe   the

ollowing

ecommendations:

n   accordance   with   European   regulations,

ll children under the age of 12 or less
than one and a half metres tall must
travel in approved child seats suited to
their weight ,
  on   seats   fitted   with   a   seat

elt   or   ISOFIX   mountings*,

tatistically, the safest seats in your
vehicle for carr ying children are the
rear seats,

hild weighing less than 9 kg must
travel in the rear ward facing position
both in the front and in the rear. CITROËN recommends

There are three rings for each seat:

eliable   and   safe   fitting   of   the   child   seat   in

our vehicle.
The ISOFIX child seats
  are   fitted   with

wo latches   which   are   secured   on   the

wo rings A.
Some
  seats   also   have   an   upper strap,
which
  is   attached   to   ring   B.
Your
  vehicle   has   been   approved   in   accordance   with   the   latest

When
  fitting   an   ISOFIX   child   seat   to

he   left   hand   rear   seat,   before   fitting   the

eat,   first   move   the   centre   rear   seat   belt  
t

owards   the   middle   of   the   vehicle,   so  
a

s   to   avoid   the   seat   inter fering   with   the

peration   of   the   seat   belt.
