Changing the battery
Following disconnection of the vehicle battery, replacement of the remote control battery or

n the event of a remote control malfunction,

ou can no longer unlock, lock or locate your

ehicle.
Remember
to refit the mat below the armrest

fter removing the reinitialised electronic key.

Alarm*

The system checks for opening of the vehicle.

The system checks for any variation in the volume in the passenger compartment.

alarm is triggered if anyone breaks a

indow, enters the passenger compartment or

The system checks for any change in the attitude of the vehicle.

alarm is triggered if the vehicle is lifted,

oved or knocked.
Self-protection function
The system checks for the putting out of service of its components.

alarm is triggered if the battery, the central

ontrol or the siren wiring are put out of service

r damaged. For
all work on the alarm system,

Locking after closing
If the fault persists after closing again, the boot will remain locked.

Reinitialisation
After reconnecting the battery or a fault, you must be reinitialise the operation of the electric
w
indows. For each of the control switches on

he driver's side control panel:

ull the control until the window stops,

elease the control and pull it again until
t
he window closes fully,
F
c
ontinue to hold the control for
approximately
o
ne

cond

fter
t
he

indow

as closed,

ress the control to lower the window
automatically
to the low position,
F
w
hen the window has reached the low
position,
press the control again for
a
pproximately one second.
The safety anti-pinch function is not
operational during these operations.
Safety anti-pinch
When the window rises and meets an obstacle, i t stops and partially lowers again.
If
the window cannot be closed (for
e
xample, in the presence of ice), once
t
he window has lowered:

p
ress and hold the control until the
window opens fully,
F
t
hen pull the control immediately
a
nd hold it until the window closes,
F
c
ontinue to hold the control for
approximately
one second after the
w
indow has closed.
The safety anti-pinch function is not
operational during these operations.

Electric blind
Opening
Turn the dial to the left (four possible settings).
Closing
Return the dial to the initial position.
Safety anti-pinch
If the blind encounters an obstacle during c
losing, it stops and partially opens again.
If
the blind fails to close at a second attempt,
i
t may be necessary to force the closing of the
b
lind using the reinitialisation procedure.
The blind is controlled electrically by a rotary
dial.
Reinitialising the system
Following reconnection of the battery, or in the e
vent of a malfunction in its operation, it may
b
e necessary to reinitialise the system:
F
t
urn the dial to the fully closed position,
F
t
hen immediately press the dial, closing
s
tarts after about 10 seconds,
F
m
aintain pressure on the dial until the blind
h
as fully closed.
The anti-pinch function is inoperative
during these operations.
If
the
position
of
the
blind
does
not
agree
with
t
he position indicated by the dial, press the dial
to
open
the
blind
to
this
position. In
the event of contact during operation
o
f the blind, you must reverse its
m
ovement. To do this, turn the dial.
When the driver operates the dial, they
must
ensure that nothing prevents the
b
lind from closing correctly.
The
driver must ensure that the
p
assengers use the blind correctly.
Be
aware of children during operation
o
f the blind.
Your
vehicle
is
fitted
with
a
tinted
glass
panoramic
sunroof
which
increases
the
light
and
visibility
in
the
p
assenger
compartment.
Its
electric
blind
helps
control
the
temperature
in
the
passenger
compartment.

9. "REST" function: ventilation with the engine off
Even with the engine is off, you
c an operate the ventilation for a
few
m
inutes.
8. Air intake / Air recirculation
F Press this button for recirculation of the interior air. The indicator l
amp in the button comes on.

recirculation enables the passenger
c
ompartment to be isolated from exterior
o
dours
and
smoke.

oon as possible, press this button
again
to permit the intake of outside air and
p
revent
the formation of condensation. The
i
ndicator lamp in the button goes off.
Avoid
prolonged operation in interior air
r
ecirculation mode (risk of misting and
d
eterioration of air quality). For
example, while you are away from the
v
ehicle, the passengers can still enjoy some air
c
irculation without having the engine running.
This
function is available after switching on the
i
gnition, as well as after stopping the engine.
The period that the function is available
depends
on the state of charge of the battery.
You can activate the "REST" function while the
air
conditioning control screens are on.On switching on the engine

T he control screens come on: the function

s available.

ressing the REST button activates the
ventilation
for a few minutes. Activation of
t
he function is confirmed by the display of
t
wo dashes in the control screens and four
air
flow level indicator lamps.

It allows the use of the vehicle's electric e
quipment or portable devices to be charged.
Once
the state of charge of the battery drops

o the reserve level, the system switches to

nergy economy mode: the power supply is

ut off automatically to preserve the remaining
b
attery charge.
Starting-switching off the engine with the key
Ignition switch
Avoid attaching heavy objects to the key, which would weigh down on its
b
lade in the ignition switch and could
c
ause a malfunction.

off the engine leads to a loss

f braking assistance.

To apply the electric parking brake:

mmobilise the vehicle and switch off the ignition.

ull the control for at least 5 seconds or until application is complete.

witch on the ignition and check the switching on of the electric parking

rake warning lamps.
The
application is slower than during normal operation.
To
release the electric parking brake:

ull the control and hold it for approximately 3 seconds then release it.
If
the braking warning lamp is flashing or if the warning lamps do not come

n with the ignition on, these procedures will not work. Place the vehicle
o
n level ground and have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified

orkshop.

Operating fault
You risk damaging the gearbox:
- i f you press the accelerator and

pedals at the same time,

To
reduce fuel consumption when

tationary for long periods with the

ngine running (traffic jam...), position

gearbox
switches
to
back-up

ode
and
is
locked
in
3rd
gear.
You
may
feel
a
substantial
knock
when
changing
from
P
to R
and
from
N to R .
This
will
not
cause
any
d
amage
to
the
gearbox.
Do
not
exceed
60
mph
(100
km/h),
local
speed
r
estrictions
p
ermitting.
Have
it
checked
by
a
CITROËN
dealer
or
a
q
ualified
w
orkshop.
This
warning
lamp
may
also
come
on
if
a
door
i
s
ope
ned.
