Changing a wheel
Access to the tools
The tools are installed in the boot under the
f l o o r.
To gain  access  to  them:
F
o
pen the boot,
F
r
aise the floor,
F
Â
s
ecure  it  by  hooking  its  cord  on  the  hook Â
o
n the rear shelf support,
F
w
ith a standard size spare wheel, unclip
and
 remove  the  box  in  the  middle  of  the Â
w
heel  containing  the  tools,
or
F
Â
w
ith  a  "space-saver"  spare  wheel;  lift  the Â
w
heel at the rear towards you for access to
the
 storage  box  containing  the  tools.

All of these tools are specific to your vehicle. Do  not  use  them  for  other  purposes.

or  removing  the  wheel  trim  and  the  wheel Â

ack  with  integral  handle.

or  raising  the  vehicle.

olt  cover  removal  tool.

or  removing  the  bolt  head  protectors  on Â

lloy  wheels.

ocket  for  the  security  bolts  (located  in  the Â
g
love  box).

or  adapting  the  wheelbrace  to  the  special Â
"s
ecurity"
 b
olts.
5.
 C
hock  (with  ETG6  electronic  gearbox Â
v
e r s i o n).
Wheel with trim
When removing the wheel ,  detach  the  trim  first  using  the  wheelbrace  1  pulling  at  the  valve  p
assage  hole.
When refitting the wheel ,
 refit  the  trim  starting  by  placing  its  notch  facing  the  valve  and Â
p
ress  around  its  edge  with  the  palm  of  your  hand.

If your vehicle has an electric parking brake,
the  jack  is  stowed  in  a  bag  placed  in  the  bottom Â
o
f  the  boot. If your vehicle has a manual parking brake
,
the  jack  is  stowed  under  the  spare  wheel  and Â
u
nder  the  storage  box:

emove  the  spare  wheel,
F
Â
r
emove  the  polystyrene  storage  box,
F
Â
p
ush  the  jack  for ward,  then  lift  it  by  its  rear Â
par
t.The spare wheel is installed in the boot under
the
 floor.

 on  version,  the  spare  wheel  may  be Â

If your vehicle has an electric parking brake,  only  a  "space  saver"  type  of Â

heel  can  be  stowed  in  the  boot.

Snow chains
In wintry conditions, snow chains improve traction as well as the behaviour of the vehicle when braking.
Advice on installation
F If  you  have  to  fit  the  chains  during  a  j
ourney,  stop  the  vehicle  on  a  flat  sur face Â
o
n  the  side  of  the  road.

pply  the  parking  brake  and  position  any Â
w
heel  chocks  to  prevent  movement  of  your Â
v
ehicle.
F
Â
F
it  the  chains  following  the  instructions Â
p
rovided  by  the  manufacturer.
F
Â
M
ove  off  gently  and  drive  for  a  few Â
m
oments,  without  exceeding  30 mph Â
(
50Â km/h).

Â
S
top  your  vehicle  and  check  that  the  snow Â
c
hains  are  correctly  tightened.

Take account  of  the  legislation  in  force Â

n your country on the use of snow
chains
 and  the  maximum  running  speed Â
a
uthorised. Avoid
 driving  with  snow  chains  on  roads Â
t
hat have been cleared of snow, to
avoid
 damaging  your  vehicle's  tyres  and Â
t
he  road  sur face.  If  your  vehicle  is  fitted Â
w
ith  alloy  wheels,  check  that  no  part  of Â
t
he  chain  or  its  fixings  is  in  contact  with Â
t
he  wheel  rim.
