Engine oil

There  is  a  fault  with  the  engine  l
ubrication  system.You
 must  stop  as  soon  it  is  safe  to  do  so.
Park,  switch  off  the  ignition  and  contact  a  CITROËN Â
d
ealer  or  a  qualified  workshop.
Battery charge
fixed. The  battery  charging  circuit  has  a Â
f
ault  (dirty  or  loose  terminals,  slack  or Â
c
ut  alternator  belt,  ...).
The  warning  lamp  should  go  off  when  the  engine  is Â
s
tarted.
If  it  does  not  go  off,  contact  a  CITROËN  dealer  or  a Â
q
ualified
 w
orkshop.
Maximum
coolant
temperature fixed.
The  temperature  of  the  cooling Â
s
ystem  is  too  high.
Stop  as  soon  as  it  is  safe  to  do  so.
Wait  until  the  engine  has  cooled  down  before  topping Â
u
p  the  level,  if  necessary.
If  the  problem  persists,  contact  a  CITROËN  dealer  or Â

After each service, the service indicator must be  reset  to  zero.

In the event of a fault with the remote control, y
ou  can  no  longer  unlock,  lock  or  locate Â

our vehicle.

irst  of  all,  use  the  key  in  the  lock  to  unlock Â

r  lock  your  vehicle.

hen,  reinitialise  the  remote  control.

The air conditioning is designed to operate e

closed. The
 intake  of  exterior  air  avoids  and  eliminates  m
isting  of  the  windscreen  and  side  windows.

The recirculation of interior air prevents exterior o
dours  and  smoke  from  entering  the  passenger Â

ompartment.

epending  on  the  state  of  charge  of  the  battery Â
o
f  your  vehicle.
This function does not activate the air
conditioning.
You
 can  make  use  of  the  residual  heat  in  the Â
e
ngine  to  warm  the  passenger  compartment Â
u
sing  the  temperature  setting  buttons.

In good or rainy weather, both day and  night,  the  front  foglamps  and  the Â
r
ear  foglamp  are  prohibited.  In  these Â
s
ituations,  the  power  of  their  beams Â
m
ay  dazzle  other  drivers.  They  should Â
o
nly  be  used  in  fog  or  snow.
In these weather conditions, it is your
responsibility
 to  switch  on  the  foglamps Â
a
nd  dipped  beam  headlamps  manually Â
a
s  the  sunshine  sensor  may  detect Â
s
ufficient  light.
Do
 not  forget  to  switch  off  the  front Â
f
oglamps  and  the  rear  foglamp  when Â
t
hey  are  no  longer  necessary.Switching off the lamps when

On switching off the ignition, all of the lamps  turn  off  immediately,  except  for Â
d
ipped  beam  if  guide-me-home  lighting Â

s  activated.

To reactivate the lighting control, rotate the  ring  to  the  "0" position  -  lamps  off, Â

hen  to  the  desired  position.
On
 opening  the  driver's  door  a Â

emporary  audible  signal  warns  the Â

river  that  the  lighting  is  on.
The
 lamps,  with  the  exception  of  the Â
s
idelamps,  switch  off  automatically  after Â
a
 maximum  duration  of  thirty  minutes  to Â
p
revent  discharging  of  the  battery.

F Left: lower  the  lighting  stalk  passing  the  p
oint  of  resistance.
