•Loudness — If Equipped
Loudness improves sound quality at lower volumes. To
make your selection, press the “Loudness” button on the
touchscreen, then choose “Yes” or “No.”
Phone/Bluetooth
After pressing the “Phone/Bluetooth” button on the
touchscreen the following settings will be available:
• Paired Phones
This feature shows which phones are paired to the
Phone/Bluetooth system. For further information, refer
to the “Uconnect Supplement Manual.”
• Paired Audio Sources
This feature shows which audio devices are paired to the
Phone/Bluetooth system. For further information, refer
to the “Uconnect Supplement Manual.”
SiriusXM Setup — If Equipped
After pressing the “SiriusXM Setup” button on the touch-
screen, the following settings will be available:
• Tune Start
Tune Start begins playing the current song from the
beginning when you tune to a music channel using one of
the twelve presets, so you can enjoy the complete song.
This feature occurs the first time the preset is selected
during that current song. Tune Start works in the back-
ground, so you will not even realize it’s on, except that
you will miss the experience of joining your favorite song
with only a few seconds left to play. To make your
selection, press the “Tune Start” button on the touch-
screen, select “On” or “Off.”

•Channel Skip
SiriusXM can be programmed to designate a group of
channels that are the most desirable to listen to or to
exclude undesirable channels while scanning. To make
your selection, press the “Channel Skip” button on the
touchscreen, select the channels you would like to skip
followed by pressing the back arrow button on the
touchscreen.
• Subscription Information
New vehicle purchasers or lessees will receive a free
limited time subscription to SiriusXM Satellite Radio
with your radio. Following the expiration of the free
services, it will be necessary to access the information on
the Subscription Information screen to re-subscribe.
Press the “Subscription Info” button on the touchscreen
to access the Subscription Information screen. Write down the SIRIUS ID numbers for your receiver. To
reactivate your service, either call the number listed on
the screen or visit the provider online.
NOTE:
SiriusXM Travel Link is a separate subscription
and is available for U.S. residents only.
Restore Settings
After pressing the “Restore Settings” button on the
touchscreen the following settings will be available:
• Restore Settings
When this feature is selected it will reset the Display,
Clock, Audio, and Radio Settings to their default settings.
To restore the settings to their default setting, press the
“Restore Settings” button on the touchscreen and pop-up
will appear asking Are you sure you want to reset your
settings to default?” select “OK” to restore, or “Cancel” to
exit. Once the settings are restored, a pop-up appears
stating settings reset to default.

Connecting The iPod Or External USB Device
Use the connection cable to connect an iPod or external
USB device to the vehicles USB/AUX connector port
which is located in the center console.Once the audio device is connected and synchronized to
the vehicles iPod/USB/MP3 control system (iPod or
external USB device may take a few minutes to connect),
the audio device starts charging and is ready for use.
NOTE:
If the audio device battery is completely dis-
charged, it may not communicate with the iPod/USB/
MP3 control system until a minimum charge is attained.
Leaving the audio device connected to the iPod/USB/
MP3 control system may charge it to the required level.
Using This Feature
By using an iPod cable, or an external USB device to
connect to the USB port:
• The audio device can be played on the vehicle’s sound
system, providing metadata (artist, track title, album,
etc.) information on the radio display.
• The audio device can be controlled using the radio
buttons to Play, Browse, and List the iPod contents.

•The audio device battery charges when plugged into
the USB/AUX connector (if supported by the specific
audio device).
NOTE: For further information, refer to the Uconnect
Supplement Manual.
Second Row USB Charging Port
Second row USB connector ports can be used for charg-
ing purposes only. Use the connection cable to connect an
iPod or external USB device to the vehicle’s USB charging
ports which are located either on the rear of the front
center console and/or in the second row center console.

UCONNECT MULTIMEDIA — VIDEO
ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM (VES) — IF EQUIPPED
Your rear seat Video Entertainment System (VES) is
designed to give your family years of enjoyment. You can
play your favorite CDs or DVDs, listen to audio over the
wireless headphones, or plug and play a variety of
standard video games or audio devices. Please review
this Owner’s Manual to become familiar with its features
and operation.

NOTE:
•Touching the screen on a Touch-Screen radio while a
DVD is playing brings up basic remote control func-
tions for DVD play such as scene selection, Play, Pause,
FF, RW, and Stop. Pressing the X in the upper corner
will turn off the remote control screen functions.
Play Video Games
Connect the video game console to the Auxiliary RCA/
HDMI input jacks located on the side of each seat.
Audio/Video RCA/HDMI Jacks
(AUX/HDMI Jacks) on the side of
each seat enable the monitor to display
video directly from a video camera,
connect video games for display on
the screen, or play music directly from
an MP3 player. When connecting an external source to the AUX/HDMI
input, be sure to follow the standard color coding for the
VES jacks:
1. Video in (yellow)
2. Left audio in (white)
3. Right audio in (red)
NOTE:
Certain high-end video game consoles will ex-
ceed the power limit of the vehicle’s Power Inverter.
Refer to the Power Inverter section in your vehicle’s
Owner’s Manual for more information.
Ensure the Remote Control and Headphone switch is on
Channel 1.

NOTE:
•To view a DVD on the radio press the RADIO/MEDIA
hard-key, on the radio faceplate, then touch the DISC
tab soft-key and then the VIEW VIDEO soft-key. •
Viewing a DVD on the Touch-Screen radio screen is
not available in all states/provinces, and the vehicle
must be stopped, and the shift lever must be in the
PARK position for vehicles with automatic transmis-
sion. In vehicles with manual transmission the parking
brake must be engaged.
Listen To An Audio Source While A Video Is
Playing
Ensure the Remote Control and Headphone switch are on
the same channel. If watching a video on Rear 1 , then
Rear 2 could be used for audio. If watching a video on
Rear 2, then Rear 1 could be used for audio.
Using The Remote Control
1. Press the MODE/SOURCE button on the Remote Control and the Mode Select Screen will display,
unless a video is playing then only a small banner will
appear on the bottom of the screen.

2. While looking at the video screen, either press Up/Down/Left/Right on the Remote Control to highlight
the desired audio source or repeatedly press the
MODE/SOURCE button on the remote until the de-
sired audio source appears on the screen.Using The Touch-Screen Radio Controls
1. Press the MENU hard-key on the radio faceplate.
2.
Touch the Rear VES soft-key to display the Rear VES
Controls. If a channel list is displayed, press the HIDE
LIST soft-key to display the Rear VES Controls screen.

3. To listen to an audio source on Rear 2 while a video isplaying on Rear 1, touch the 2 soft-key and choose an
audio source. To exit touch the back arrow soft-key at
the top left of the left screen.Important Notes For Dual Video Screen System
•VES is able to transmit two channels of stereo audio
and video simultaneously.
• The Blu-Ray DVD Player can play CDs, DVDs and
Blu-Ray Discs.
• The DVD Player can play CDs and DVDs.
• In split screen mode the left side equates to Rear 1 and
the right side equates to rear 2.
• Selecting a video source on Rear 1, the video source
will display on Rear 1 and can be heard on Rear 1.
• Selecting a video source on Rear 2, the video source
will display on Rear 2 and can be heard on Rear 2.
• Rear 1 and Rear 2 of the Video Entertainment System
can play two separate discs by utilizing the touch-
screen radio, DVD player and Blu-Ray Disc Player.
• Audio can be heard through the headphones even
when the screen(s) are closed.

Blu-Ray Player Remote Control – If EquippedControls And Indicators
1. Power – Turns the screen and wireless headphone
transmitter for the selected Channel on or off. To hear
audio while the screen is closed, press the Power
button to turn the headphone transmitter on.
2. Channel Selector Indicators – When a button is pressed, the currently affected channel or channel
button is illuminated momentarily.
3. SOURCE – Press to enter Source Selection screen.
4. Channel/Screen Selector Switch - Indicates which channel is being controlled by the remote control.
When the selector switch is in the Rear 1 position, the
remote controls the functionality of headphone Chan-
nel 1 (right side of the screen). When the selector
switch is in the Rear 2, position the remote controls the
functionality of headphone Channel 2 (left side of the
screen).
