INTRODUCTION
This chapter only describes the variants
regarding the operation of the CD Chang-
er (for versions and markets where pro-
vided); as far as the operation of the radio
is concerned, refer to the description in
the “FUNCTIONS AND ADJUST-
MENTS” chapter.
SELECT CD CHANGER
Turn the radio on and briefly and repeat-
edly press the CD button until the “CD
CHANGER” function is selected.CD SELECTION
Press the button ▲to select the next CD
or the button ▼to select the previous
CD.
If there is no disc in the CD loader in the
selected position, the text “NO CD” will
appear briefly on the display. The next disc
will then automatically be played. POSSIBLE ERROR MESSAGES
Possible error messages are shown in the
following cases:
❒no CD loaded in the CD Changer: the
wording “NO CD” will appear on the
display until the listening source is
changed;
❒the selected CD cannot be read (the
CD is not in the selected position or it
has been loaded incorrectly): the dis-
play will show the text “CD ERROR”
after the number of the selected CD.
The next CD is then selected; if there
are no other CDs or they cannot be
read, the display will show the text
“NO CD” until the listening source is
changed;
❒CD read error: on the display appears
the text “CD ERROR”. The next CD is
then selected; if there are no other CDs
in the CD Changer (after the last CD
the search begins again from the first)
or these also cannot be read, the dis-
play will show the text “NO CD” until
the listening source is changed;
❒a CD-ROM is loaded: the next available
CD will be selected.

GENERAL
Sound volume low
The Fader function should be adjusted on-
ly to the values “F” (front) to prevent a
reduction in radio output power and the
cancellation of the volume if the Fader lev-
el adjustment is equal to R+9.
Source cannot be selected.
Nothing has been loaded. Load the CD or
the MP3 CD to be listened to.CD PLAYER
The CD does not play.
The CD is dirty. Clean the CD.
The CD is scratched. Try using another
CD.
The CD cannot be loaded.
A CD is already loaded. Press the button
˚and remove the CD.MP3 FILE READING
Track skips whilst playing MP3 files
The CD is scratched or dirty. Clean the
CD, referring to the description in the
paragraph “CD” in the chapter “INTRO-
DUCTION”.
The duration of the MP3 tracks is not
correctly displayed.
In some cases (due to the recording
mode) the duration of the MP3 tracks may
be displayed incorrectly.
