IMPORTANT If one of the doors is not perfectly closed, or there is a
system fault, the central locking device will not work and after 8 or 9
attempts in rapid succession the device will cut out for about 30 seconds.
During these 30 seconds the doors can be locked or unlocked manually,
without involving the electric system. After 30 seconds the central
system is ready to receive commands again. If the reason for the
malfunction has been removed, the device will start to work properly
again. If not it will cut out once more.
IMPORTANT If one or both rear doors are open and the remote
control (or the key in the door lock) is operated, the central door
locking system will lock all the doors lowering the door sill buttons.
When closing the open doors they will lock.
CHILD SAFETY DEVICE
This prevents the rear doors from being opened from the inside.
Insert the tip of the ignition key into (F) and turn it:
Position 1 - device off.
Position 2 - device on.

ELECTRIC WINDOWS
FRONT SEATS
The electric windows are controlled by two buttons in the inside of the
handle on the driver’s door:
A - to open/close left window;
B - to open/close right window.
If button (A) on driver’s side is pressed for over one second, the
automatic opening/closing function is activated: the window will stop
moving when it reaches the end of its stroke (or when the button is
pressed again).
On the passenger side there is a switch in the door handle to control the
relevant window.

ANCHORING THE LOAD
There are special rings in the boot to anchor cords to firmly hold in place
the load being transported.
IMPORTANT When travelling at night with a load in the boot, the height
of the dipped beams should be adjusted (see “Headlights” in this section).
To ensure the regulator works properly, make sure that the load does
not exceed the values given.
WARNINGHeavy loads not securely anchored could seriously injure passengers in the event of
an accident.
F0E0660m
WARNINGIf you are travelling in areas where refuelling can be difficult and you want to carry
a can of petrol, attain to the law in force. Use a homologated can only and secure
it to the load anchoring hooks. Even given these precautions, the risk of fire in the
event of an accident is increased.
