When travelling the ASR can be switched off and on
again pressing switch (A) on the centre console.
When the ASR is off this is shown by the lighting up of
the led on the switch.If the ASR is switched off when travelling, it will turn
on again automatically the next time the engine is
started.
When travelling on snow with snow chains, it may be
helpful to turn the ASR off: in fact, in these conditions,
slipping of the driving wheels when moving off makes it
possible to obtain better drive.
WARNINGThe performance of the system, in terms of active safety should not induce the
driver to take pointless and unnecessary risks. The style of driving must in any case
always be adapted to the conditions of the road surface, visibility an traffic. Road
safety is always the driver’s responsibility.
For correct operation of the ASR system, the tyres must absolutely be of the same
brand and type on all wheels, in perfect conditions and, above all, of type, brand
and size specified. WARNING

SNOW CHAINS
Use of snow chains should be in compliance with local
regulations.
Snow chains should only be applied to the driving
wheels (front wheels).
Check the tension of the chains after the first few
metres have been driven.
IMPORTANT Snow chains cannot be fitted to the
space-saver spare wheel. So, if a front (drive) wheel is
punctured and chains are needed, a rear wheel should
be fitted to the front of the vehicle and the spare
wheel should be fitted to the rear. This way with two
normal drive wheels, snow chains can be fitted to
them to solve an emergency.Tyres on which chains can be fitted:
– 185/65 R 15 88H
– 195/60 R 15 88H
Use slow profile snow chains with maximum height off
the tyre of 10 mm.
Keep your speed down when snow chains are fitted. Do not exceed 50 Km/h. Avoid potholes, steps
and pavements and avoid also to drive for long distances on roads not covered with snow to
prevent damaging the car and the roadbed.

WARNINGThe jack shall only be used for changing wheels on the car with which it is provided
or on cars of the same model. It must not be used for other purposes such as for
instance raising cars of other models. In no case should it be used for repairs under
the car. Incorrect positioning of the jack may cause the jacked vehicle to fall. Do
not use the jack for higher capacities than stated on its label. Snow chains cannot
be fitted to the space-saver spare wheel. So, if a front (drive) wheel is punctured
and chains are needed, a rear wheel should be fitted to the front of the vehicle and
the spare wheel should be fitted to the rear. This way with two normal drive
wheels, snow chains can be fitted to them to solve an emergency.
ATTENZIONEFasten the wheel cap correctly to prevent the wheel from coming free in motion.
Never tamper with the inflation valve. Never place tools between the rim and tyre.
Check and restore, if required, the pressure of tyres and spare wheel to the values
given in the “Technical specifications” section.

IMPORTANT In the event of discrepancies between
the information provided on this OWNER
HANDBOOK and the LOG BOOK, consider the
specifications shown in the log book only.
Attaining to the prescribed size, to ensure safety of
the car in movement, it must be fitted with tyres of
the same make and type on all wheels.
IMPORTANT Do not use inner tubes with Tubeless

mm.
SPACE-SAVER SPARE WHEEL
Pressed steel rim. Tubeless tyre.SNOW TYRES
Use the snow tyres specified in section “Driving your
car” in paragraph “Snow tyres”.

UNDERSTANDING TYRE MARKING
Example: 185/65 R15 88H
185 = Nominal width (distance between sidewalls
in mm).
65 = Height/width ratio (as a percentage).
R = Radial tyre.
15 = Rim diameter in inches.
88 = Load rating.
H = Maximum speed rating.

UNDERSTANDING RIM MARKING
The following are the necessary indications to understand the meaning of
the markings on the rim, as shown in the figure.
Example: 6 J x 15 H2
6 = rim width in inches (1)
J = rim drop center outline (side projection where the tyre bead rests)
(2)
15 = rim nominal diameter in inches (corresponds to diameter of the
tyre to be mounted) (3 =Ø)
H2 = “hump“ shape and number (relief on the circumference holding the
TUBELESS tyre bead on the rim)
