Airbag readiness Illuminates briefly\o when the ignition is turne\f
on. If this light fa\oils to illuminate, \oremains on or
\bontinues to flash af\oter the engine is \ostarte\f,
\bonta\bt your authorize\f \fealer for ser\ovi\be as
soon as possible. A \bhime will also soun\o\f if
there is a malfun\bt\oion in the in\fi\bator \olight. Service engine soon
Illuminates briefly\o when the ignition is turne\f on. If \oit remains on
or is blinking afte\or the engine is st\oarte\f, the on-boar\f \fiagnosti\bs
system (OBD-II) has \fete\bte\f a malfun\btion. Drive in a mo\ferate
fashion an\f \bonta\bt your authorize\f \fealer as soon as possible.
Low tire press\fre warning
Illuminates when y\oour tire pressure i\os low. If the light re\omains
on, the tire pressu\ore shoul\f be \bhe\bke\f. If the light \fo\oes not turn
on at ignition or begins to flash\o, \bonta\bt your authorize\f \fealer
as soon as possible. Infotainment disp\bay (if eq\fipped)
If your vehi\ble is equippe\f with the MyFor\f Tou\bh™ system, you will have an
infotainment \fisplay in this area. Use the Ok an\f arrow buttons on the right
si\fe of your steering wheel to s\broll through available mo\fes of Entertainment,
Phone, Navigation an\f Climate. You \ban also perform other fun\btions su\bh as
answering a \ball, setting the \friver si\fe temperature an\f more. Refer to your
MyFor\f Tou\bh™ supplement for more information.
M\f\btif\fnction disp\bay
This area \ban \fisplay information su\bh as: the fuel gauge,
ta\bhometer, engine \boolant temperature an\f the o\fometer, trip
meter as well as the Information menu, Settings menu an\f the
System \bhe\bk. Use the OK an\f arrow buttons on the left si\fe of
your steering wheel to s\broll through various menu options an\f
make sele\btions. Refer to the Instrument Cluster \bhapter in your
Owner’s Gui\fe for more information. P\fsh b\ftton start (\pif eq\fipped)
Allows you to start your vehi\ble without a key by pressing the
ENGINE START/STOP button while pressing the brake pe\fal,
provi\fe\f your intelligent a\b\bess key (IA, if equippe\f) is insi\fe the
vehi\ble. If ne\bessary, you \ban also start your \bar by inserting the
IA key into the ba\bk-up slot lo\bate\f in your glove box. Simply
insert the IA key into the slot with the buttons fa\bing you an\f the
key ring up. Then, press the ENGINE START/STOP button an\f
brake pe\fal to start your vehi\ble as usual. You \ban remove the IA
key from the ba\bkup slot on\be the vehi\ble is starte\f, if \fesire\f.
Hazard contro\b
Speed contro\bs (if eq\fipped)
To set the spee\f:
1. Press ON.
2. A\b\belerate to the \fe\osire\f spee\f.
3. Push the SET button up an\f ta\oke your
foot off the a\b\belerator.
• To set a higher spee\f, press an\f
hol\f the SET button \fown or press
SET \fown repeate\fly until the
\fesire\f spee\f is rea\bhe\f.
• To set a lower spee\f, press an\o\f hol\f
the SET button up or pre\oss SET up
repeate\fly until th\oe \fesire\f spee\f
is rea\bhe\f. Co\b\bision warning system (if eq\fipped)
Uses a ra\far sensor to \fete\bt if vehi\bles ahea\f of you whi\bh are moving in
the same \fire\btion may be a \bollision risk. The system will alert you with
an au\fible \bhime an\f re\f warning light whi\bh will appear above the \fash.
If the risk of \bollision in\breases, the system will in\brease brake support to
help re\fu\be \bollision spee\f. The \bollision warning system is a\btive at spee\fs
above approximately 5 mph (8 km/h). For more information on a\btivating
an\f \fea\btivating the system, refer to Message Center in the Instrument
Cluster \bhapter. For more information on the \bollision warning system an\f
limitations, refer to the Driving \bhapter of your Owner’s Gui\fe.
Adaptive cr\fise contro\b (if eq\fipped)
Allows you to set a ‘gap \fistan\be’
between yourself an\f the vehi\ble in front
of you in the same lane when your \bruise
\bontrol is a\btive. Press GAP up or \fown to
sele\bt from four available gap \fistan\bes.
The sele\bte\f gap \fistan\be will appear in
the message \benter as a graphi\b \fisplay.
On\be you sele\bt the \fesire\f gap \fistan\be,
the vehi\ble will then automati\bally apply
the brakes when ne\bessary to ensure
that the spe\bifie\f \fistan\be is kept. Refer
to the Driver Controls \bhapter of your
Owner’s Gui\fe for more information.
• To return to a previously set spee\f,
press RES.
• To turn off, push the \oOFF button
\fown or turn the ign\oition off.

PowerFold® third row seat (if equi\f\fed\u)
The thir\f row seat features a power one-tou\bh operation that allows you to a\fjust the seats with the tou\bh of a button.
Press the seat sele\btion button (4) to sele\bt either right-han\f seat, the left-han\f seat or both. First sele\bt the seat you woul\f like to
a\fjust, then sele\bt one of the following:
• Press the NORMAL button (1) to return the seat to the normal seating position.
•
Press the STOW button (2) to stow the seat into the tub floor.
•
Press the FOLD button (3) (the top portion of the button) to fol\f \fown the seatba\bk.
Terrain \banage\bent (if eq\uui\f\fed)
This system optimize\os \frivability an\f \bomfort as well as maximizing tra\btion. Turn the \bontrol on t\ohe \benter \bonsole to \osele\bt from the
following mo\fes:
•
Grass/Gravel/Snow: Use this mo\fe where a firm surf\oa\be is \bovere\f with l\ooose or slippery material.
•
San\f: Use this mo\fe on soft \fry san\f or \feep gravel terrain.
•
Mu\f/Ruts: Use this mo\fe on mu\f\fy, rutte\f, s\ooft or uneven terrai\on.
•
Normal: Use this mo\fe for on-roa\f \bon\fitions.
Hill Descent Control™ (if equi\f\fed)
This allows you to set an\f mainta\oin your vehi\ble spee\f wh\oile \fes\ben\fing steep\o gra\fes. It maintai\ons your vehi\ble spee\fs o\on \fownhill gra\fes
between 3 mph (5 km/h\o) an\f 20 mph (32 km\o/h).
Grade assist (if equi\u\f\fed)
Ai\fs in optimal gea\or sele\btion in hilly or mountainous areas. This feature helps y\oou by provi\fing a\f\fit\oional gra\fe (engine)\o braking an\f
exten\fs lower gear operation on uphill \blimbs.\o To a\btivate/\fea\btivate Gra\fe assis\ot, press the transm\oission \bontrol swit\bh on the si\fe of the\o
gearshift lever. Note: Gra\fe Assist is not re\bommen\fe\f for normal \friving.
