Note:The alert turns off when the vehiclebattery runs out of charge.
POST-COLLISION BRAKING
How Does Post-Collision BrakingWork
In the event of a moderate to severe crash, the braking system reduces the vehicle’sspeed to prevent or reduce the impact ofa potential secondary crash.
Post-Collision Braking Limitations
Post-collision braking does not activate ifany of the following occur:
•The anti-lock braking system isdamaged during the collision.
•Electronic stability control is disabled.
Overriding Post-Collision Braking
You can override post-collision braking bypressing the brake or accelerator pedal.
Post-Collision Braking Indicators
It flashes when a post-collisionbraking event is occurring.
AUTOMATIC CRASH SHUTOFF
WHAT IS AUTOMATIC CRASHSHUTOFF
The system deactivates the high voltagesystem if it is a battery or hybrid-electricvehicle, in the event of a moderate orsevere crash.
RE-ENABLING YOUR VEHICLE
1.Switch your vehicle off.

Note:If prediluted coolant is not available, use the approved concentrated coolantdiluting it to 50/50 with distilled water. SeeCooling System Capacity andSpecification (page 366). Using water thathas not been deionized could contribute todeposit formation, corrosion and pluggingof the small cooling system passageways.
Note:Coolants marketed for all makes andmodels might not meet our specificationsand could cause damage to the coolingsystem. Resulting component damagecould void the vehicle warranty.
If the coolant level is at or below theminimum mark, add prediluted coolantimmediately.
To top up the coolant level do thefollowing:
1.Unscrew the cap slowly. Any pressureescapes as you unscrew the cap.
2.Add prediluted coolant approved tothe correct specification. See CoolingSystem Capacity and Specification(page 366).
3.Add enough prediluted coolant toreach the correct level.
4.Replace the coolant reservoir cap. Turnthe cap clockwise until it contacts thehard stop.
5.Check the coolant level in the coolantreservoir the next few times you driveyour vehicle. If necessary, add enoughprediluted coolant to bring the coolantlevel to the correct level.
If you have to add more than 1.1 qt (1 L) ofcoolant per month, have your vehiclechecked as soon as possible. Operatingyour vehicle with a low level of coolant canresult in overheating and possible electricmotor damage.
In case of emergency, you can add a largeamount of water without coolant in orderto reach a vehicle service location. In thisinstance, have qualified personnel do thefollowing as soon as possible:
1.Drain the cooling system.
2.Chemically clean the coolant system.
3.Refill with coolant.
Water alone, without coolant, can causedamage from corrosion, overheating orfreezing.
Do not use the following as a coolantsubstitute:
•Alcohol.
•Methanol.
•Brine.
•Any coolant mixed with alcohol ormethanol antifreeze.
Alcohol and other liquids can causedamage from overheating or freezing.
Do not add extra inhibitors or additives tothe coolant. These can be harmful andcompromise the corrosion protection ofthe coolant.
Recycled Coolant
We do not recommend the use of recycledcoolant, as an approved recycling processis not yet available.
Dispose of used coolant in an appropriatemanner. Follow your community'sregulations and standards for recycling anddisposing of automotive fluids.

8.When the recommended tire pressureis reached, turn off the kit, unplug thepower cable, and disconnect the hosefrom the tire valve. Re-install the valvecap on the tire valve and return the kitto the rear of the vehicle.
9.Drive the vehicle 4 mi (6 km) todistribute the sealant evenly inside thetire.
Note:If you experience any unusualvibration, ride disturbance or noise whiledriving, reduce your speed until you cansafely pull off to the side of the road to callfor roadside assistance. Do not proceed tothe second stage of this operation.
Second Stage: Checking the tirepressure with the inflator kit
WARNING: If the tire does notinflate to the recommended tire pressurewithin 15 minutes, stop and call roadsideassistance.
WARNING: The power plug mayget hot after use and should be handledcarefully when unplugging.
Check the air pressure of your tires asfollows:
1.Remove the valve cap from the tirevalve.
2.Firmly screw the air compressor hoseonto the valve stem by turningclockwise.
3.Push and turn the dial clockwise to theair position.
4.If required, turn on the compressor andadjust the tire to the recommendedinflation pressure.
