Note: The passenger compartment fusebox is on the right-hand side for right-handdrive vehicles.
Pre-fuse Box
Your vehicle has a pre-fuse box in theengine compartment attached to thepositive battery post. This box containsseveral high current fuses. If replacementof these high current fuses is required, seean authorized dealer.
Engine Compartment Fuse Box
WARNING: Always disconnect thebattery before servicing high currentfuses.
WARNING: To reduce risk ofelectrical shock, always replace thecover to the power distribution boxbefore reconnecting the battery orrefilling fluid reservoirs.
The engine compartment fuse box hashigh-current fuses that protect yourvehicle's main electrical systems fromoverloads.
When you disconnect and reconnect thebattery, you need to reset some features.See Changing the 12V Battery (page 275).
Lift the release lever at the rear of the coverto remove it.
