The hooks on the f loor of the cargo
area enable you to tie down items
stored in the back. Make sure all
stored items are secured bef ore
driving.
To open the console compartment,
pull up on the lever and lif t the lid.
To close, lower the lid and push it
down until it latches.
You can store a cellular phone, a
small notepad, and business cards in
the front of the console
compartment. To open the f ront
door of the console compartment,
pull up the lever, and pivot the door
forward.

To open the sunglasses holder, push
on the f ront edge. It will unlatch and
swing down. To close it, push it until
it latches. Make sure the holder is
closed while you are driving.Some larger styles of sunglasses
may not f it in the holder.

To use the sun visor, pull it down.
You can also use the sun visor at the
side window. Remove the support
rod f rom the clip and swing the sun
visor toward the side window. In this
position, the sun visor can be
extended by sliding out the
extension.Touseavanitymirroronthebackof
the sun visor, pull up the cover.
Make sure you put the sun visor
back in place when you are getting
into or out of the vehicle. Do not use
the sun visor extension over the rear
view mirror.
The light beside the mirror comes
on only when the parking lights or
headlights are on.

compartment, pull the cover up.
To use an accessory power socket,
the ignition switch must be in
ACCESSORY (I) or ON (II).
Your vehicle has four accessory
power sockets. The f ront accessory
power socket is located under the
audiosystem.Twomoresocketsare
located in the center console
compartment and on the back of the
center console. The f ourth socket is
behind the third seat on the driver’s
side. These sockets are intended to supply
power f or 12 volt DC accessories
that are rated 120 watts or less (10
amps).
When more than one socket is being
used, the combined power rating of
the accessories should be 120 watts
or less (10 amps).

The coin box is located under the
audio system. To open the coin box,
pull the bottom edge. Close it with a
firm push.
The rear socket has a maximum
power rating of 120 watts (10 amps.)
None of the sockets will power an
automotive type cigarette lighter
element. Thesecondandthirdrowgrabrails
can also be used as coat hooks.

When this switch is in the OFF
position:None of the lights come on when a
door or the tailgate is opened.
The individual map lights in the
f ront can be turned on and of f with
the switches next to the lights. The individual map lights in the
f ront come on when any door or
thetailgateisopened.Whenthe
doors and the tailgate are closed,
eachlightcanbeturnedonandoff
with the switch next to the light.
When the switch is in the Door
Activated position:
The light control switch controls the
interior lights: the individual map
lights by the sun visors, and the
individual map lights above the
second and third row passengers.
This switch has three positions: OFF,
Door Activated, and ON. The individual map lights in the
second and third rows cannot be
turned on.
The individual map lights in the
second and third rows come on
when any door or the tailgate is
opened. When the doors and the
tailgate are closed, each light can
be turned on and of f by pushing
on the lens.

The lights go out about six seconds
after all the doors and the tailgate
are closed.
With the light control switch in the
Door Activated position, all the
individual map lights come on when
you unlock the door with the remote
transmitter (see page ).
Withanydoororthetailgateleft
open, the lights stay on about three
minutes, then go out.When the switch is in the ON
position:
All the individual map lights come on
andstayonaslongastheswitch
remains in the ON position.

Turn on the f ront individual map
lights by pushing the button next to
each light. Push the button again to
turn it off. You can also operate
these lights with the light control
switch (see page ).Turn on the grab rail light by
pushing the lens on each light. Push
the lens again to turn the light off.
You can also operate these lights
with the light control switch (see
page ).The light in the tailgate has an on-of f
switch. When the switch is in the ON
position, the light comes on when
thetailgateisopened.

stays on several seconds after you
close the door.The courtesy lights in the f ront
