uuOperating the Switches Around the Steering Wheel uAuto High-Beam System*
Controls
■To manually cancel th e system temporarily
You can cancel the operation when you ma nually change the headlights to high
beams. Push the lever forward until you hear a click, or lightly pull the lever towards
you to flash high beams. The auto hi gh-beam system indicator goes off.
If you want the auto high-beam system operation to resume at once, pull the lever
towards you.
Disable the system when the vehicle is parked
with the power mode in ON and the light
switch is in the AUTO position.
To disable the system: Pull the light switch
lever towards you and hold it for 40 seconds.
The auto high-beam indica tor in the meter will
blink twice.
To enable the system: Pull the light switch
lever towards you and hold it for 30 seconds.
The auto high-beam indica tor in the meter will
blink once.
■To Disable the System

If the Can Not Operate: message appears:
Park your vehicle in a safe place. Wipe away debris
blocking the windshield, then start driving again. If
the message remains on even after driving for a while
with the clean windshield, have your vehicle checked
by a dealer.

The auto high-beam system will remain in the
selected disabled or enab led setting each time you
start the engine.

Adjusting the Mirrors
Interior Rearview Mirror
Adjust the angle of the rearview mirror when you are sitting in the correct driving
position.
Flip the tab to switch the position.
The night position will help to reduce the glare
from headlights behind you when driving
after dark.
When driving after dark, the automatic
dimming rearview mirror reduce the glare
from headlights behind you.

• Driving on a snowy or wet roadway (obscured lane marking, vehicle tracks,
reflected lights, road spray, high contrast).
• Driving on a road with temporary lane markings.
• Faint, multiple, or varied lane markings are visible on the roadway due to road
repairs or old lane markings.
• The roadway has merging, split, or crossing lines (e.g., such as at an intersection
or crosswalk).
• The lane markings are extremely narrow, wide, or changing.
• The vehicle in front of you is driving near the lane lines.
• The road is hilly or the vehicle is approaching the crest of a hill.
• Driving on rough or unpaved roads, or over bumpy surfaces.
• When objects on the road (c urb, guard rail, pylons, etc.) are recognized as white
lines (or yellow lines).
• When driving on roads with double lines.

Maintenance
1. Push the tab to remove the coupler.
2. Rotate the old bulb counterclockwise to
remove.
3. Insert a new bulb into the headlight
assembly and turn it clockwise.
4. Insert the coupler into the connector of the
bulb.
Daytime Running Lights and Parking Lights
Daytime running lights and parking lights are LED type. Have an authorized Honda
dealer inspect and replace the light assembly.
Daytime running light bulbs and high beam headlight bulbs are the same.
