Mirrors
Interior Rearview Mirror
Adjust the angle of the rearview mirror when you are sitting in the correct driving
position.
Flip the tab to switch the position.
The night position will help reduce the glare
from headlights behind you when driving
after dark.
When you are driving after dark, the
automatic dimming rearview mirror and
power door mirror
* reduces the glare from
headlights behind you. Press the AUTO button
to turn this function on and off. When
activated, the AUTO indicator comes on.

Power Door Mirrors
You can adjust the door mirrors when the
power mode is in ON.
■Mirror position adjustment
L/R selector switch: Select the left or right
mirror. After adjusting the mirror, return the
switch to the center position.
Mirror positi on adjustment switch: Press
the switch left, right, up, or down to move the
mirror.
■Folding door mirrors*
Press the folding button to fold in and out the
door mirrors.
If activated, either side door mirror
automatically tilts do wnward when you put
the transmission into
(R; this improves close-
in visibility on the selected side of the vehicle
when backing up. The mirror automatically
returns to its original position when you take
the transmission out of
(R.
To activate this feature, set the power mode

Wi-Fi Connection
This vehicle is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity. You can connect to an external Wi-
Fi hotspot or communication device.
1.Press the button.
2. Select General Settings .
3. Select Connections .
4. Select Wi-Fi.
5. Select OK.
6. Select an access point from the network list.
u To connect to a hotspot that is not
automatically detected, select Options
then Add Network .
7. Enter the password.
u If you check the Use this network to
automatically download system
updates box, you can set the network to
be used for system updates.

the vehicle is moving. Park in a safe place to set the
audio system in Wi-Fi mode.
Some cell phone carriers charge for tethering and
smartphone data use. Check your phone’s data
subscription package.
Check your phone manual to find out if the phone
has Wi-Fi connectivity.
You can confirm whether Wi -Fi connection is on or
off with the icon on th e system status area.
Transmission speed and others will not be displayed
on this screen.

E. Information Coll ection and Storage
1. Information Collection, Use, Transmission and Storage of Data. Consent to Use of Data:
You agree that HONDA and PROVIDERS may
collect and use your information gathered in any manner as part of product support services related to the SOFTWARE or related services.
HONDA may share such information with third parties, including, without limitation, PROVIDERS, th ird party software and services
suppliers, their affiliates and/or their desi gnated agents, solely to improve their products or to provide services or technolo gies to you.
HONDA, third party software and systems s uppliers, their affiliates and/or their designated agent may disclose this information to others,
but not in a form that pe rsonally identifies you.
2. Information Storage.
Depending on the type of multimedia system you have in your VEHICLE, certain information may be stored for ease
of use of the SOFTWARE including, without limitation, search hi story, location history in certain applications, previous and saved
destinations, map locations within certain applications, and device numbers and contact information.
(a) Vehicle Health Information.
Your VEHICLE may remotely trans mit information regarding the status and health of your VEHICLE
(“VEHICLE INFORMATION”) to HONDA without notification to you. VEHICLE INFORMATION may contain VEHICLE maintenance and
malfunction status that is derived from VEHICLE diagnostic data and includes, but is not limited to, status of powered doors and windows,
battery life data, battery charging data, VEHICLE speed, coolant temperat ure, air compressor revolution, output power, warning codes,
diagnostic trouble codes, fuel injection volu me, and engine rotations per minute. VEHICL E HEALTH INFORMATION may be used by HON DA
for research and development, to deliver HONDA SERVICES and information to you, and to contact you, and is retained only for a period
of time necessary to fulfill these goals.
(b) VEHICLE Geolocation Data (non-navigation/map based).
If you opt-in to geolocation-based SERVICES, your vehicle’s geolocation data
(latitude and longitude) will be automatically se nt from your VEHICLE to HONDA and PROVIDERS.
(c) You understand that the inputting or uploading of information to your VEHICLE’s multimedia system or the SOFTWARE or SERVIC ES is
at your own risk and that HONDA is not responsible for unauthorized access to or use of any personal or other information. All information
uploaded to the SOFTWARE and SERVICES may be stored on your VEHICLES’s multimedia system and you understand that the security and
safety of your VEHICLE’s multimedia system is your sole responsibility.

I. Availability/Interruption. The SOFTWARE and certain SERVICES are made availa ble through your VEHICLE’s compatible multimedia
system when the VEHICLE is turned on. Certain SERVICES may be available only through your compatible mobile device when it is within
the operating range of the VEHICLE and a wireless carrier. The av ailability of the SOFTWARE and SERVICES may be subject to transmission
limitation or interruption, including but no t limited to technical obsolesce or sunsetting of the hardware, software or firmwar e, inside of
or external to the Vehicle, required for data transmission or receipt. HONDA does not guarantee that the SOFTWARE, SERVICES, or any
portion thereof will be available at all times or in all areas. You acknowledge and agree that HONDA is not responsible for per formance
degradation, interruption or dela ys. You acknowledge that HONDA shall not be liable to you if the SOFTWARE or SERVICES in a given
location are not available. If the SOFTWARE or SERVICES are not available within your intended location, you agree that your sole remedy
shall be to cease using the SOFTWARE and SERVICES.
J. PRODUCT SUPPORT: Product support for the SOFTWARE is provided by HONDA. For product support, please refer to HONDA
instructions provided in the DOCUMENTATION. Should you have any questions concerning this AGREEMENT, or if you desire to contact
HONDA for any other reason, please refer to the HONDA contact information provided in the DOCUMENTATION.
K. Termination and Transfer.
1. Termination. This AGREEMENT is effective until te rminated by you or US. WE may terminate this AGREEMENT for any or no reason,
and with or without notice to you. Your rights under this AGR EEMENT will terminate automatically without notice from US if you fail to
comply with any term of this AGREEMENT. U pon termination of this AGREEMENT, you shall cease all use of the SOFTWARE and SERVICE S.
2. Transfer: You may permanently transfer your rights under this AGREEMENT only as part of a sale or transfer of the VEHICLE, provided
you retain no copies, y ou transfer all of the SOFTWARE and HONDA SERVICES (inc luding all component parts, the media and printed
materials, and any upgrades), and the recipient agrees to the terms of this AGREEMENT. You agree to notify HONDA upon the sale or
transfer of the VEHICLE. To contact HO NDA, please refer to the HONDA contact info rmation provided in the DOCUMENTATION.

• Obey posted speed limits fo r vehicles with trailers.

(D position when towing a trailer on level roads.
• Turn more slowly and with a wider turning arc than normal.
• Allow more time and distance for braking.
• Do not brake or turn suddenly.
• If the Engine temperature near limit. Av oid heavy acceleration and high
speed. message appears on the driver information interface, turn off the climate
control system and reduce speed.
If the Engine temperature too hot. Do no t drive. Allow engine to cool.
message appears on the driver information interface, pull to the side of the road
safely to cool down the engine.

(S position if the transmission shifts frequently.
When retrieving a boat from the wa ter, the sequential shift mode
(S is
recommended to utilize the transmissions lower gears.

When towing a fixed-sided trailer (e.g., camper), do
not exceed 55 mph (88 km/h).
At higher speeds, the trai ler may sway or affect
vehicle handling.

If the automatic transmission fluid temperature
exceeds the specified limit, the transmission will also
automatically up shift, even in the sequential shift
mode.

1. Depress and hold the brake pedal, then press the ENGINE START/STOP button.
2. Keeping your right foot on the brake pedal, put the transmission into
(D. Select
(R when reversing.
3. With the parking brake applied, release the brake pedal and gently depress the
accelerator pedal.

■Hill start assist system
Hill start assist keeps the brake engaged br iefly to help prevent the vehicle from
rolling on inclines as you move your fo ot from the brake pedal to the accelerator.
Put the transmission into
(D or (S when facing uphill, or (R when facing downhill,
then release the brake pedal.
You can turn the engine off when the vehicle is completely stopped.
1. Depress the brake pedal and change the shift position to
(P.
u Do not release the brake pedal until you have confirmed that
(P is shown on
the shift position indicator.

You can also release the parking brake by pressing
the electric parking brake sw itch while depressing the
brake pedal. When facing downhill, you can start
your vehicle more smoothly by manually releasing it
with the electric parki ng brake switch than by
releasing it with th e accelerator pedal.
The engine stops when th e transmission is taken out
of
( P before the ENGINE START/STOP button is
pressed. Follow step 1 when starting to drive.

Hill start assist may not prevent the vehicle from
rolling downhill on a very st eep or slippery slope, and
will not operate on small inclines.
Hill start assist will operate even when VSA ® is
switched off.
Hill start assist is not a replacement for the parking
brake.

The power mode will automatically turn to VEHICLE
OFF about 20 minutes afte r the following conditions
have been met:
•A door has been opened, such as when leaving the
vehicle.
•The transmission is in ( P.•The driver’s seat belt is not fastened.

If there is a strong impact with something under the vehicle, stop in a safe location.
Check the underside of the vehicle for damage or any fluid leaks.
Automatic Transmission
When the engine runs at higher idle speeds, the creeping force increases.
Keep the brake pedal firmly depressed when stopped.
Quickly depressing the accelerator pedal while driving uphill may cause the
transmission to drop to a lower gear, unexpectedly increasing vehicle speed. Depress
the accelerator pedal carefully, especi ally on slippery roads and curves.

The vehicle can roll aw ay if left unattended
without confirming that Park is engaged.
A vehicle that rolls away could cause a crash
resulting in seriou s injury or death.

Used when parking or starting the engine.
Reverse
Used when reversing.

Transmission is not locked.

and 8th (8th gear is used only at high speed).
