To raise or lower the window, turn the window regulator handle clockwise or counterclockwise. WARNING:
When opening or closing the win-dows, make sure your passenger's arms, hands and body are safely out of the way.

4. Remove the old battery from the case and note the polarity. Make sure the polarity of the new battery is the same (+side facing up), then insert it in the transmitter.

B070E01TB-GAT Replacing the battery When the transmitter's battery begins to get weak, it may take several pushes on the button to lock or unlock thedoors, and the LED will not light. Re- place the battery as soon as possible. Battery type : CR1220 Replacement instructions:
1. Remove the screw with a phillips
screwdriver.
2. Carefully separate the case with a flat-head screwdriver as shown in the illustration.

B070E01TB-EAT Replacing the battery When the transmitter's battery begins to get weak, it may take several pusheson the button to lock or unlock the doors, and the LED will not light. Re- place the battery as soon as possible. Battery type : CR1220 Replacement instructions:
1. Remove the screw with a (+) screw-
driver.
2. Separate the case with a (-) screw- driver as shown in the illustration.
- Other vehicles or objects may be
blocking the signal.
- The weather is extremely cold.
- The transmitter is close to a radio transmitter such as a radio stationor an airport which can interferewith normal operation of the trans- mitter.
When the transmitter does not workcorrectly, open and close the door with the ignition key. If you have aproblem with the transmitter, con- tact an authorized Hyundai Dealer. NOTE: Keep the transmitter away from wa- ter or any liquid. If the keyless entry system is inoperative due to expo-sure to water or liquids, it will not be covered by your manufacturer ve- hicle warranty.

1. Close all doors.
2. Push the button on the transmitter.
3. At the same time all doors lock, the
turn signal light will blink once to indicate that the system is armed.
Unlocking doors
1. Push the button on the transmitter.
2. At the same time all doors unlock, the turn signal light will blink twice to indicate that the system is disarmed.
NOTE: The transmitter will not work if any of following occur:
- The ignition key is in ignition switch.
- You exceed the operating distance limit (10 m).
- The battery in the transmitter is
weak.

These supply 12V electric power to operate electric accessories or equip- ment only when the key is in the "ON" or "ACC" position.

CAUTION:
o Use when the engine is running and remove a plug from the power outlet after using the electric ap- pliance. Using when the engine stops or remaining the electricappliance with plugged in for many hours may cause the battery to be discharged.
o Do not use the power outlet to connect electric accessories orequipment other than those de-signed to operate on 12 volts.
o Some electronic devices can cause
electronic interference whenplugged into the power outlet. These devices may cause exces- sive audio noise and malfunctionsin other electronic systems or de- vices used in your vehicle.

Do not hold the cigar lighter at the depressed position which may result in damage to the vehicle wiring or anelectrical fire. If it is necessary to replace the ciga- rette lighter, use only a genuine Hyundaireplacement part.
CAUTION:
Do not use electric accessories orequipment other than the Hyundai genuine parts in the socket.

o If battery electrolyte is spilled onto
skin or into eyes, the effected area must be flushed with copiousamounts of water and medical assis- tance sought.
o If battery electrolyte is ingested, copious amounts of water or milkfollowed by an ant-acid (raw egg or milk of magnesia) must be drunk.Vomiting should not be induced and medical assistance must be sought.
o Batteries must only be charged in well venti-lated areas from whichnaked lights or sources of sparks are excluded.
o Ensure that children, pets or other unauthorised persons are kept awayfrom batteries.
o Do not allow anything to bridge the positive (+) and negative (-) termi-nals of the battery.
o Never invert the battery. The battery fitted during production is of the "Maintenance Free" type.

Motor vehicle batteries contain sulphuric acid which is corrosive and poisonous. Hydrogen gas isemitted from the battery which is explosive when combined with oxy- gen. The following precautions mustbe strictly observed to avoid per- sonal injury or damage to the ve- hicle.

The use of replacement fuses having a higher rating than specified or othermeans of connecting the circuit will create a potential fire hazard.
In the event of a replacement fuse failing shortly after installation a mal-function within the circuit protected by that fuse is indicated. The circuit should be checked by a Hyundai authorisedrepairer at the first available opportu- nity.
