RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAINTENANCE
The maintenance requirements for your new Hyundai are found in Section 5. As the owner, it is your responsibility to see that all maintenance operations specified by themanufacturer are carried out at the appropriate intervals. When the vehicle is used in severe driving conditions, more frequent maintenance is required for some operations. Maintenance requirements for severe operating conditions are also included in Section 5.

TWO-WAY RADIO OR CELLULAR TELEPHONE INSTALLATION
Your vehicle is equipped with electronic fuel injection and other electronic compo- nents. It is possible for an improperly installed/adjusted two-way radio or cellular telephone to adversely affect electronic systems. For this reason, we recommendthat you carefully follow the radio manufacturer's instructions or consult your Hyundai dealer for precautionary measures or special instructions if you choose to install one of these devices.

Modification of components may void the manufacturer's warranty Your Hyundai should not be modified in any way. Modifications may adversely affect the safety, durability and performance of your Hyundai. Components which are subjected to modification or are added to the vehicle resulting in consequentialdamage are not covered by the vehicle manufacturer's warranty.

AUSTRALIAN DESIGN RULES
The compliance plate shows that your vehicle has been tested and found to comply with all relevant Australian Design Rules (ADR's) applicable at its date of manufacture. Any part, that is subject to these ADR's, must not be removed or altered and is to be maintained in good order at all times for the vehicle to be roadworthy and re-registerable by all registerable authorities. Consult an Authorised Hyundai Motor Dealer before conducting any repairs that may affect these areas or if requiring further classification on design rules or safetyfeatures. Failure to observe the above warning may render the vehicle compliance invalid and result in personal injury which may have otherwise been avoided.

1. What are Hyundai Genuine Parts?
Hyundai Genuine Parts are the same parts used by Hyundai Motor Com- pany to manufacture vehicles. Theyare designed and tested for the optimum safety, performance, and reliability to our customers.
2. Why should you use genuine parts?Hyundai Genuine Parts are engi- neered and built to meet rigid origi- nal manufacturing requirements. Using imitation, counterfeit or used salvage parts is not covered under the Hyundai New Vehicle LimitedWarranty or any other Hyundai war- ranty. In addition, any damage to or failure of Genuine Hyundai Partscaused by the installation or failure of an imitation, counterfeit or used salvage part is not covered byHyundai Motor Company.
3. How can you tell if you are pur- chasing Hyundai Genuine Parts? Look for the Hyundai Genuine Parts Logo on the package (see below). The export specifications are writ- ten in English only. Hyundai Genuine Parts are only sold through authorised Hyundai Dealerships.
