B340E01A-AAT Headlight Flasher To flash the headlights, pull the switch lever toward you, then release it. The headlights can be flashed even though the headlight switch is in the "OFF"position.
B350A01A-AAT WINDSHIELD WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH The windshield wiper switch has three positions:
1. Intermittent wiper operation
2. Low-speed operation
3. High-speed operation NOTE: To prevent damage to the wiper system, do not attempt to wipe awayheavy accumulations of snow or ice. Accumulated snow and ice should be removed manually. Ifthere is only a light layer of snow or ice, operate the heater in the de- HHP272
B350B01Y-GAT Windshield Washer Operation To use the windshield washer, pull the wiper/washer lever toward the steer- ing wheel. When the washer lever is operated, the wipers automaticallymake two passes across the wind- shield. The washer continues to oper- ate until the lever is released.

B350C01L-AAT Adjustable Intermittent Wiper Operation To use the intermittent wiper feature, place the wiper switch in the "INT"position. With the switch in this posi- tion, the interval between wipes can be varied from approximately 1 to 18 sec-onds by turning the interval adjuster barrel. When the windshield wiper switch is placed in the "AUTO" position, the rain sensor located on the upper end ofwindshield glass senses the amount of rainfall and controls for the appropriate length of the intervals between wipesappropriately. NOTE: If there is heavy accumulation of snow or ice on the windshield glass,there will be a 10 minute waiting period prior to the operation of the windshield wipers.
Mist Wiper Operation If a single wipe is desired in mist, push the MIST operation switch at the end of the windshield wiper and washer control lever. HHP275
NOTE:
o Do not operate the washer more
than 15 seconds at a time or when the fluid reservoir is empty.
o In icy or freezing weather, be sure the wiper blades are notfrozen to the glass prior to oper-ating the wipers.
o In areas where water freezes in
winter, use windshield washerantifreeze.

WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADES
The wiper blades should be carefully
inspected from time to time and cleaned to remove accumulations of road film or other debris. To clean thewiper blades and arms, use a clean sponge or cloth with a mild soap or detergent and water. If the wiperscontinue to streak or smear the glass, replace them with Genuine Hyundai Replacement parts or their equiva-lent. HEF119

FILLING THE WASHER RESER- VOIR
The washer fluid reservoir supplies fluid to the windshield washer sys- tem. HXG2007
NOTE:
o Do not operate the wipers on dry glass. This can result in more rapid wear of the wiper blades and may scratch the glass.
o Keep the blade rubber out of contact with petroleum productssuch as engine oil, gasoline, etc.
The replacement of air cleaner filter isperformed in the following manner.
1. Unsnap the clips around the cover.
2. When this is done, the cover can be lifted off, the old filter removed and the new filter put in its place.
Genuine Hyundai Replacement Partsare recommended.
CAUTION:
o Operating your vehicle without a proper air filter in place canresult in excessive engine wear.
o When removing the air cleaner
filter, be careful that dust or dirt does not enter the air intake. These may result in damage tothe air cleaner filter.
