B800A02FC-GAT (If Installed) The CD Auto Changer is located under the front passenger seat. This system can store up to 8 CDs. You may select music without chang-ing discs. First, open the CD Auto Changer door, remore the CD "maga- zine" and insert up to 8 CDs. Then,push the magazine into the CD Auto Changer. locked with a key.
o The tail gate is opened by pulling the outside handle up, raising the tail gate manually.
o To close, lower the tail gate, then press down on it until it is closed. Tobe sure the tail gate is fully closed,always try to pull it up again without using the outside handle.

CAUTION:
o The following specifications are recommended when loadingcargo or luggage. o Loading cargo or luggage above
34 kg (75 lb) on the roof rack may damage your vehicle. When you carry large objects, never let them hang over the rearor the sides of your vehicle.
o To prevent damage or loss of
cargo as you are driving, checkfrequently to make sure the lug- gage carrier and cargo are still securely fastened.
o Always drive your vehicle at a moderate speed.
o To use the roof rails as a roof
rack, you must fit the roof rails with two or more crossrails or equivalent before carrying cargoor lugguage on the roof.
o When crossrail is adapted, you
can load things on the roof rack.
o Loading cargo or luggage over specification on the roof rack maydamage stability of your vehicle.
o In case the sunroof is equipped, do not position roof rack loadsthat could interfere with openingof the sunroof.

1. Push the lever downward to unlock.
2. Raise or lower the steering wheel to
the desired position.

B560B01O-GAT (Gasoline Engine) The auto fuel cut switch is located on the driver's side of the engine compart- ment. In the event of a collision or suddenimpact, the auto fuel cut device cuts off the fuel supply. If this device is acti- vated, it must be reset by pressing inon the top of the switch before the engine can be restarted.

This is used to direct the flow of air. Air can be directed to the floor, dashboard outlets, or windshield. Five symbols are used to represent Face, Bi-Level,Floor, Floor-Defrost and Defrost air po- sition.Face-Level
Selecting the "Face" mode will cause air to be discharged through the face level vents. HFC2046

Air is discharged through the face vents and the floor vents. This makes it pos- sible to have cooler air from the dash- board vents and warmer air from thefloor outlets at the same time.

Air is discharged through the floor vents. Floor-Defrost Level
Air is discharged through the side de- frost nozzle windshield defrost vents and the floor vents. If the "Floor-Defrost" mode is selected,the A/C will be turn automatically and it will be changed to "Fresh" mode will be activated. Defrost-Level
Air is discharged through the sidedefrost nozzle, windshield defrost vents. If the "Defrost" mode is selected, theA/C will turn on automatically and "Fresh" mode will be activated to im- prove windshield defrosting.

B670C03FC-GAT Air Intake Control With the "Fresh" mode selected, air enters the vehicle from the outside andis heated or cooled according to the function selected. With the "Recirculation" mode selected, air from within the passenger compart- ment will be drawn through the heatingsystem and heated or cooled according to the function selected. NOTE: It should be noted that prolonged operation of the heating in "Recircu- lation" mode will increase to fog- ging of the windshield and side win-dows and the air within the passen- ger compartment will become stale. In addition, prolonged use of the airconditioning with the "Recirculation" mode selected may result in the air within the passenger compartmentbecoming excessively dry.
This is used to select fresh outside airor recirculating inside air. To change the air intake control mode, (Fresh mode, Recirculation mode) pushthe control button. FRESH MODE
( ) :
The indicator light on the button goes off when the air intake control is in fresh mode. RECIRCULATION MODE ( ):
The indicator light on the button is illuminated when the air intake control is in recirculation mode. HFC2067
For normal heating operation, set the air intake control to the "Fresh" position and the air flow control to "Floor". For faster heating, the air intake control should be in the "Recirculation" posi-tion. If the windows fog up, move the air flow control to the "Def" (defroster) position. (The A/C will turn on automatically and "Fresh" mode will be activated.) For maximum heat, rotate the tempera- ture control to "Warm".

B700A01S-AAT Your Hyundai is equipped with bi-level heating controls. This makes it pos- sible to have cooler air from the dash-board vents and warmer air from the floor outlets at the same time. To use this feature:
o Set the air intake control to the "Fresh" mode ( ).
o Set the air flow control at the "Bi- Level" position.
o Adjust the fan speed control to the desired speed.
o Set the temperature control between
"Cool" and "Warm". B720A02FC-GAT Use the heating/ventilation system to defrost or defog the windshield: To remove interior fog on the wind- shield:
o Set the air flow control to the defrost
( ) position. (The A/C will turn on automatically and "Fresh" mode willbe activated.)
o Set the temperature control to the
desired position.
o Set the fan speed control between "1" and "4" position.
