• Removal and installation of the power window motor from the regulator.
• Installation of a new glass window.
• Installation of a new glass run.
Check the label on the power window motor for the part number. If the power window motor part number
matches one of the following, the limit switch must be reset using the "INSTALLATION WITHOUT RESET
SWITCH" procedure.
• 80730-ZT01A
• 80731-ZT01A
• 80730-ZM70B
• 80731-ZM70B
If the power window motor part number does not match one of the part numbers above, the limit switch must
be reset using the "INSTALLATION WITH RESET SWITCH" procedure.
NOTE:
Some of the power window motors with the part num bers above may appear to have a reset switch, but it will
not reset the limit switch.
INSTALLATION WITHOUT RESET SWITCH - (Motors listed above)
Check the label on the power window motor for the pa rt number. If the power window motor part number does
not match one of the above, use the "INS TALLATION WITH RESET SWITCH" procedure.
NOTE:
Some of the power window motors may appear to have a re set switch, but it will not reset the limit switch.
1. Connect the door harness connector to the power window motor, and rotate the motor more than 5 turns
in the glass raising (up) direction.
2. Install the power window motor onto the regulator.
3. Install the regulator assembly into the door and secure regulator assembly with the nuts and bolt.
4. Install the glass into the door and align with the regulator, then install the glass bolts.
5. Raise the glass to the top position. CAUTION:
Do not operate the glass automatical ly to raise the glass to the top.
6. Reposition the vapor barrier.
7. Install the front door finisher panel. Refer to INT-11, "
Removal and Installation".
INSTALLATION WITH RESET SWITCH - (Motors not listed above)
1. Install the power window motor onto the regulator.
2. Install the regulator assembly into the door and secure regulator assembly with the nuts and bolt.
3. Connect the door harness connector to the power window motor.
4. Install the glass into the door and align with the regulator, then install the glass bolts.
Power Window Motor Up Direction
• LH motor rotate counterclockwise
• RH motor rotate clockwise
Regulator assembly nuts
and bolt : 7.5 N·m (0.77 kg-m, 66 in-lb)
Glass bolts : 6.1 N·m (0.62 kg-m, 54 in-lb)

5. Reset the limit switch.a. Raise the glass to the top position.
b. While pressing and holding the reset switch, lower the glass
to the bottom position.
c. Release the reset switch. Verify that the reset switch returns
to the original position, if not, pull the switch using suitable tool.
d.Raise the glass to the top position.
CAUTION:
Do not operate the glass automatically to raise the glass to
the top position.
6. Reposition the vapor barrier.
7. Install the front door finisher panel. Refer to INT-11, "
Removal and Installation".

• Press the “BACK” switch and the “UP” switch within 10 seconds after turning the ignition switch from OFF to ACC and hold them for
3 seconds or more. Then the buzzer sounds, all indicators of the
preset switch illuminate, and the self-diagnosis mode starts.
• The continuity of each switch and control dials (A/C and AV switch assembly only) at the ON position can be checked by pressing
each switch and turning each control dial. The buzzer sounds and
LED’s will illuminate if the switch is normal.
Finishing self-diagnosis mode
Self-diagnosis mode is canceled when turning the ignition switch OFF.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The A/C auto amp. controls compressor operation based on ambient and intake temperature and a signal
from ECM.
Low Temperature Protection Control
The A/C auto amp. will turn the compressor ON or OFF as determined by a signal detected by the intake sen-
sor and the ambient sensor.
When intake air temperature is higher than the preset value, the compressor turns ON. The compressor turns
OFF when intake air temperature is lower than the pres et value. That preset value is dependent on the ambi-
ent temperature, refer to the following table.

INSPECTION FLOW
1.CONFIRM SYMPTOM BY PERFORMING O PERATIONAL CHECK - MAGNET CLUTCH
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Press the A/C switch.
3. Press vent switch ( ).
4. Display shows , A/C. Confirm that the compress or clutch engages (sound or visual inspection). (Dis-
charge air and blower speed will depend on ambient, in-vehicle and set temperatures.)
Can the symptom be duplicated?
YES >> GO TO 3.
NO >> GO TO 2.
2.CHECK FOR ANY SYMPTOMS
Perform a complete operational check for any symptoms. Refer to HAC-4, "
Operational Check (Front)".
Does another symptom exist?
YES >> Refer to HAC-3, "How to Perform Trouble Diagnosis For Quick And Accurate Repair".
NO >> System OK.
3.CHECK FOR SERVICE BULLETINS
Check for any service bulletins.
>> GO TO 4.
4.PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS
Perform self-diagnosis to check for any codes. Refer to HAC-22, "
A/C Auto Amp. Self-Diagnosis".
Are any self-diagnosis codes present?
YES >> Refer to HAC-23, "A/C System Self-Diagnosis Code Chart".
NO >> GO TO 5.
5.CHECK AMBIENT SENSOR
Check and verify ambient s ensor circuit. Refer to HAC-78, "
Ambient Sensor Diagnosis Procedure".

SELF-DIAGNOSIS MODE
The following items can be checked during Combination Meter Self-Diagnosis Mode.
• Gauge sweep and present gauge values.
• Illuminates all odometer/trip meters and A/T indicator segments.
• Illuminates all micro controlled lamps/LEDs regardless of switch position.
• Displays estimated present battery voltage.
• Displays seat belt buckle switch LH status.
OPERATION PROCEDURE
NOTE:
• Once entered, combination meter self-diagnosis mode will function with the ignition switch in ON or START.
Combination meter self-diagnosis mode will exit upon turning the ignition switch to OFF or ACC.
• If the diagnosis function is activated with trip A displa yed, the mileage on trip A is reset to 0000.0. (Trip B
operates the same way.)
To initiate combination meter self-diagnosis mode, refer to the following procedure.
1. Turn the ignition switch ON, while pressing the odometer/trip meter switch for 5 - 8 \
seconds. When the diagnosis function is activated, the odometer/trip meter will display tESt.
NOTE:
Check combination meter power supply and ground circuit when self-diagnosis mode of combination meter
does not start. Refer to MWI-30, "
COMBINATION METER : Diagnosis Procedure". Replace combination
meter if normal. Refer to MWI-76, "
Removal and Installation".
COMBINATION METER SELF-DIAGNOSIS MODE FUNCTIONS
To interpret combination meter self-diagnosis mode functions, refer to the following table.

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal (1) and positive battery
terminal (2).
CAUTION:
Remove negative battery terminal first.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Remove the battery clamp bolt (3) and battery clamp.
4. Remove the battery.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
When installing, in stall the positive battery terminal first.
Reset electronic systems as necessary. Refer to PG-8, "
ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REMOVING BAT-
TERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL : Special Repair Requirement".

MEMORY RESET PROCEDURE
1. Please observe the following instructi ons at confirming the sunroof operation.
NOTE:
Do not disconnect the electronic power while the sunroof is operating or within 5 seconds after the sunroof
stops. (to wipe-out the memory of lid position and operating friction.)
2. Initialization of system should be conducted after the following conditions.
• When the sunroof motor is changed.
• When the sunroof does not operate normally. (Incomplete initialization conditions)

INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE
If the sunroof does not close or open automatically, us e the following procedure to return sunroof operation to
normal.
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Push and hold the sunroof tilt switch in the forw ard (DOWN) position until the sunroof is fully closed.
3. After the sunroof has closed all the way, push and hold the tilt switch forward (DOWN) again for more than 2 seconds to re-learn motor position.
4. Initialization is complete if the sunroof operates normally.

4. Disconnect the sunroof motor harness connector (2). ⇐: Vehicle front
5. Remove the sunroof motor screws (3), then remove the sunroof motor (1).
Installation
CAUTION:
Before installing the sunroof motor assembly, be sure to place the link and wire assembly in the sym-
metrical and fully closed position.
•⇐ :Vehicle front
1. Move the sunroof motor (1) laterally little by little so that the gear is completely engaged into the wire on the sunroof unit and the
installation surface becomes parallel. Then, secure the motor
with screws (3).
2. Connect the wire harness connector (2) to the sunroof motor (1).
3. Install the roof console assembly. Refer to INT-17, "
Removal
and Installation".
4. Reset the sunroof motor memory. Refer to RF-5, "
ADDITIONAL

AIR LEVELIZER diagno sis mode Description
WORK SUPPORT Supports inspection and adjustment. Commands are transmitted to the suspension control
unit for setting the status suitable for required operation, input/output signals are received
from the suspension control unit and received data is displayed.
SELF-DIAG RESULTS Displays suspension control unit self-diagnosis results.
DATA MONITOR Displays suspension control unit input/output data in real time.
ACTIVE TEST Operation of electrical loads can be checked by sending drive signal to them.
ECU PART NUMBER The part number of suspension control unit can be checked.
ItemDescription Condition
STANDARD HEIGHT LEVEL Resets the vehicle height to the initialization flag
setting stored in the suspension control unit. Vehicle unladen, set in a horizontal position and
not moving.
NOTE:
Do not take your eyes off the vehicle while CON-
SULT-III is processing.
ADJUST HEIGHT INI Sets the height initialization flag in the suspen-
sion control unit when the control unit has been
replaced or when the initialization flag has been
cleared using the "CLEAR HEIGHT INI" proce-
dure. Vehicle unladen, move vehicle forward and back-
ward approx. 5 m (16.4 ft) and rock vehicle side
to side.
NOTE:
Do not move vehicle wh
ile CONSULT-III is pro-
cessing.
CLEAR HEIGHT INI Clears the initialization flag in the suspension
control unit. Vehicle unladen.
