4. Release the sail panel retainers from the body sidechannel at the rear corners of the vehicle. NOTE:
When releasing the sail panel retainers, it is
helpful to pull down on the rear roof bow.

5. Fold the sail panels so that they rest on top of the softtop. 6. Fold header rearward, pulling the fabric to the rear.

7. Release Sunrider® latch (both sides).8. Open the swing gate and lower the top.

NOTE:Ensure the fabric does not overhang the sides of
the vehicle.
Quick Steps For Raising The Soft Top
1. Open the swing gate and raise the top, engaging the Sunrider® latches (another person may be needed to
help with this operation).

6. Install the side windows.7. To install the side windows, affix the window tempo-
rarily by attaching to the Velcro® in the rear corner.
Start the zipper but close only about 1 in (2.5 cm).

8. Insert the front retainer of the window into the doorchannel, making sure the retainer is fully seated and
properly positioned on the door frame. Failure to do
so can result in wind and water leaks or damage to the

9. Insert the retainer along the bottom edge of thewindow into the bottom side channel, beginning at the
front and working to the rear of the vehicle. Finish by
closing the zipper completely and attaching the Vel-
cro® along the top and rear of the window. Repeat this
step for the opposite side.
