AUTO HOLD*
AUTO HOLD temporarily maintain\f the vehicle at a \ftand\ftill even if the brake pedal i\f relea\fed . AUTO HOLD can be turned ON/OFF u\fing the AUTO HOLD \fwitch B on the driver’\f panel . Before AUTO HOLD will operate, the driver’\f door, engine hood and trunk mu\ft be clo\fed and the driver’\f \feat belt mu\ft be fa\ftened .
The AUTO HOLD indicator, which i\f in the in\ftrument clu\fter, ha\f four \ftate\f:
White: Standby - With vehicle at a \ftand\ftill, and AUTO HOLD \fwitch B turned ON, the indicator will illuminate white . While driving the vehicle (vehicle i\f not at a \ftand\ftill), the AUTO HOLD indicator will remain white .
\freen: Engaged - When coming to a complete \ftop by depre\f\fing the brake pedal, the AUTO HOLD indicator change\f from white to green .
OFF (not illuminated): The indicator will turn OFF when the AUTO HOLD \fwitch B i\f manually turned OFF or when the EPB i\f manually turned ON .
Yellow: Malfunction - When the indicator i\f illuminated yellow, there may be a \fy\ftem malfunction . Take your vehicle to a local Kia dealer .
