Blind-spot View Monitor (BVM)†3
When the system is enabled and activated by operating a turn signal, BVM is designed to display the rear and side of the vehicle blind spot areas for the direction indicated, in the Instrument Cluster LCD A.
BVM Settings:
•BCA can be turned on/off by going to the Vehicle Settings* in the Infotainment System
•Only adjust settings when the vehicle is at a standstill, gear shift is in Park and the ignition is on or the Engine Start/Stop button* in the on position
•To access Vehicle settings* in the Infotainment System – Press the SETUP key or the onscreen SETUP button. Press VEHICLE to enter Vehicle Settings. Select Driver Assistance, then Blind-spot Safety and select Blind-spot View
When engaged, BCA and SEA are supplemental systems. Do not solely rely on the systems and always pay at tention to the road and its conditions. Images are for illustrative purposes only and may not reflect actual feature or operation. See section 5 in the Owner ’s Manual for more information.

Safe Exit Assist (SEA)†3
Safe Exit Assist (SEA) can help prevent passengers from opening their door by sounding an audible warning when a vehicle is detected, approaching from behind, after your vehicle has stopped.
SEA keeps the sliding doors closed. When pressing the Power Sliding Door lock button D, SEA warns the driver of the risk of collision with a vehicle approaching the blind spot area.
SEA Settings:
•SEA can be turned on/off by going to the User Settings* in the Instrument Cluster or the Vehicle
Settings* in the Infotainment System
•Only adjust settings when the vehicle is at a standstill, gear shift is in Park and the ignition is on or the Engine Start/Stop button* in the on position
•To access User settings* in the Instrument Cluster - Press the Mode button B on the Steering Wheel to toggle to User Settings . Press the OK C up/down to toggle to Driver Assistance, then Blind-spot Safety and select Safe Exit Assist
•To access Vehicle settings* in the Infotainment System – Press the SETUP key or the onscreen SETUP button. Press VEHICLE to enter Vehicle Settings. Select Driver Assistance, then Blind-spot Safety and select Safe Exit Assist
