Wheel alignment and tyre balance
The wheels on your vehicle were aligned and balanced carefully at the
factory to give you the longest tyre
life and best overall performance.
In most cases, you will not need to
have your wheels aligned again.
However, if you notice unusual tyre
wear or your vehicle pulling one way
or the other, the alignment may needto be reset.
If you notice your vehicle vibrating
when driving on a smooth road, your
wheels may need to be rebalanced. Tyre replacement
If the tyre is worn evenly, a tread
wear indicator will appear as a solid
band across the tread. This showsthere is less than 1.6 mm (1/16 in.) of
tread left on the tyre. Replace the
tyre when this happens.
Do not wait for the band to appear
across the entire tread before replac-
ing the tyre.
✽✽
NOTICE
We recommend that when replacing
tyres, use the same originally sup-
plied with the vehicles.
If not, that affects driving perform-
ance.
CAUTION
Improper wheel weights can damage your vehicle's alu-minum wheels. Use only approved wheel weights.

When replacing the tyres, recheck and tighten the wheelnuts after driving about 1,000 km (620miles). If the steering wheelshakes or the vehicle vibrateswhilst driving, the tyre is out ofbalance. Align the tyre balance. If the problem is not solved, werecommend that you contact anauthorised Kia dealer.

tal clock must be reset and transmitter
(or smart key) may not work properly.
When the fuse switch is in the OFF posi-
tion, a message "Turn on fuse switch" will
illuminate on the cluster.
✽✽
NOTICE
If you need to park your vehicle for pro-
longed periods more than 1 month,
move the fuse switch to the OFF position
to prevent the battery being discharged.
