REMINDERS:

In an emergency situation while the vehicle is in motion, you are able to turn the engine off and to the ACC position by pressing the Engine Start/Stop button for more than 2 seconds or 3 times successively within 3 seconds
•
If Smar t Key fob bat ter y is dead, with the lock but ton facing the Engine Star t/Stop but ton, hold the fob up against the Engine Star t/Stop but ton and press and hold until the engine star ts
•
Do not turn the vehicle off by pushing the Star t/Stop but ton while the vehicle is in motion If the vehicle has been turned off the power brake and power steering system cannot operate
•
With the vehicle off, hydraulic power assist for steering and braking will be disabled and the vehicle will be more dif ficult to control
To use electrical accessories:

-When in the OFF position and without depressing the brake pedal, press the Engine Star t/Stop but ton once

Headlights & High BeamsHigh Beam Assist (HBA)

Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
DRL may help others to see the front of your vehicle during the day The lights will be on automatically when the ignition or Engine Start/Stop button is ON and the headlight switch is in the AUTO position, unless one of the following occurs:
•Headlights are on
•Parking brake is applied
•Fog lights are on
•Engine is turned off
•Switch is in the OFF position
REMINDER: DRL only operates during the day time

4 Insert Mechanical Key and turn right to lock Driver ’s Door to lock all doors
5 Return keyhole cover to its original position

•If the Smar t Key bat ter y is weak or not working properly, hold the Smar t Key fob up to the Engine Star t/Stop but ton (Lock but ton side closest) and press to star t engine
•The Smar t Key ’s signal can be blocked by the normal operation of a cell or smar tphone To help prevent this, store each device separately
•When reinser ting the mechanical key into the fob, make sure it is pushed all the way in until there is a click sound

Opening from Outside the Vehicle:
To open Power Liftgate automatically, press the Rear Hatch Release button A on exterior of the Liftgate
Automatically close by pressing the Power Liftgate Close button B
Opening from Inside the Vehicle:
Open: Press and briefly hold the Power Liftgate Open/Close button C to automatically open the Liftgate
Close: Press and hold the button C until liftgate is completely closed If the button C is released while closing, the power liftgate will stop and a warning chime will sound
Smart Key:
To open the Power Liftgate, press and hold the Liftgate button D until the Liftgate begins opening Press and hold to close, and until the liftgate is closed completely If button is released while closing, the liftgate will stop and a chime will sound
REMINDERS:
•
Pulling the Rear Hatch upward by the handle or pressing the but ton a second time will interrupt the automatic opening of the Power Liftgate
•When closing, be mindful of any objects or persons
Power Liftgate Opening Height Adjustment
Set the opening height in Vehicle Settings* Press the SETUP key/button on the infotainment system, select VEHICLE, DOOR, then POWER LIFTGATE OPENING HEIGHT Select the desired option
To manually set the opening height, do the following steps:
1 Position the liftgate manually to the preferred height
2 Press and hold Power Liftgate Close button B more than 3 seconds
3 A system beep will sound twice indicating the height setting has been saved
The liftgate will then open to the set height To change setting again, repeat steps 1-3
REMINDER: Ensure objects and people are out of the way when operating the power liftgate
