Should two or more ty res be flat, the dis play will s how the
indications  corresponding to each ty re in sequence. Re-
s tore the correct inflation pre ssure values as s oon as  pos-
s ible (s ee paragraph “Cold inflation pre ssures” in chap-
ter “6”).
T yre pressure unsuitable for speed
When the key  is turned to MAR, the warning light (for
vers ions /markets , where provided) s witches on, but it
s hould  switch off after a few s econds.
S hould it be necessary  to travel at a speed higher than 160
km/h, inflate the t yre s more than the pressure value s pec-
ified in paragraph “Inflation pressures” in chapter “6”.
If the TPMS (for versions/markets where provided) de-
tects  that the pr
essure of one or more t yre s i s uns uitable
for the current s peed, the warning light or  symbol will
s witch on (together with the message on the di splay ) (see
“T yre pre ssure low” paragraph in this  chapter) and it will
s tay  on until the car s lows down to a s peed below the pre-
s et thres hold (see “TPMS ” paragraph in thi s chapter).
IMPORTANT In this  case, slow down immediately  because
t y re overheating could damage t yre performance and
durability  beyond repair, and may  even make the tyre ex-
plode.
Particularly strong radio-frequency inter-
ference may cause the TPMS to function in-
correctly. The driver is notified of this con-
dition through a message (for versions/markets,
where provided).
The message will disappear automatically as soon
as the interference ceases to disturb the system.
Exterior lig hts failure (amber)
This  warning light (or  symbol on the display)
s witches  on when a fault i s detected in any  of
the following lights :
❍ side lights ;
❍ brake lights  (for versions/markets  where provided);
❍ rear fog light s;
❍ direction indicators ;
❍ number plate light s;
❍ day time running light s.
The failure relating to the se lights  could be: one or more
blown bulbs , a blown protection fus e or a break in the elec-
trical connection.
The dis play shows  the dedicated message.

Rear fog lights (amber)
The warning light come s on when the rear fog
lights  are turned on.

Direction indicators 
( g reen - intermittent)
The warning light s s witch on when the direc-
tion indicator control s talk is moved down-
wards , upwards  or when the hazard warning
light button is  pressed.

headlig hts (green) 
This  warning light s witches on when the day time
running light s or dipped beam headlight s are ac-
tivated.
Follow me home
This  warning light  switches  on when this  device is acti-
vated (s ee “Follow Me Home” in thi s chapter). 
The dis play will s how the dedicated me ssage.
Main beam headli ghts (blue)
The warning light  switches  on when the main
beam headlight s are turned on.

C ruise  Control (g reen)
(for vers ions/markets , where provided)
When the key i s turned to MAR, the warning
light  switches  on but it s hould switch off after a
few  seconds . The warning light i s lit up on the dis play by
rotating the Cruis e Control ring nut to ON. 
The dis play will s how the dedicated me ssage.

Cornering  lights (activation/deactivation of 
cornering  lights - fog  lights with cornerin g 
function)  (for versions/markets  where provided)
This function activate s/deactivates the cornering lights.
To activate/deactivate (ON/OFF) the light s, proceed as
follows :
– press the S ET button briefly , the display will s how “On”
or “Off” fla shing depending on the previou s s etting;
– press 
Õor Ôto make y our choice;
– briefly  press the S ET button to go back to the menu
s creen or hold the button down to go back to the  standard
s creen without s aving.
Trip B data/activation (Trip B enablement)
This  function can be us ed to activate (On) or deactivate
(Off) the Trip B dis play (partial trip). 
For further information  see “Trip computer”.
Proceed as  follows to switch the function on/off:
– press the S ET button briefly  to make the display flash
On or Off depending on the previou s s etting; 
– pre ss 
Õor Ôto make y our choice;
– briefly  press SET to go back to the menu  screen or hold
the button down to go back to the  standard  screen with-
out  saving. Time adjustment (
Clock adjustment) 
This  function enables  the clock to be set through two sub-
menus : “Time” and “Format”.
To carry  out the adjus tment, proceed as  follows:
– briefly  press the S ET button and two s ubmenus “Time”
and “Format” are dis played;
– press the 
Õor Ôbutton to move between the two  sub-
menus ;
– once y ou have s elected a s ub-menu, pre ss SET briefly ;
– when y ou select “Time”, briefly  pressing SET makes  the
hours  flash on the di splay ;
– press 
Õor Ôto adjus t the value;
– briefly  press the S ET button and the minute s will flas h
on the dis play;
– press 
Õor Ôto adjus t the value.

Activation
When the ring nut is turned to the AUTO pos ition the
external lights  automatically s witch on depending on the
exterior brightne ss.
The headlight s can only  be flashed with the s ensor on.
Deactivation
When the lights  are switched off by  the sensor, the dipped
beam headlight s and s ide lights  are switched off and the
day  lights  are switched on (if activated).
The  sens or is  not capable of detecting the pre sence of fog
therefore, in thes e circumstances, the lights  have to be
turned on manuall y.
FRONT FOG LIGHT S WITH 
C ORNERING LIGHTS  FUNCTION
When the dipped beam headlights  are on and the speed is
below 40 km/h, if the s teering wheel rotation angle is  large
or the direction indicators  are on, a light (incorporated
in the fog light) will come on on the relevant  side to im-
pr
ove vis ibility at night time. The function can be acti-
vated/deactivated via the di splay  menu (s ee “Display”
paragraph in thi s chapter).
AUTOMATIC
 HEADLIGHT S ENSOR (dusk sensor) 
(for vers ions/markets , where provided)
It detects  variation s in brightness outs ide the vehicle de-
pending on the light  setting: the greater the  sens itivity , the
less outs ide light needed to activate the exterior light s be-
ing turned on. The  sens itivity  of the dus k sens or may  be
adjus ted, us ing the “S etup menu” on the ins trument pan-
el.
The daytime running lights are an alterna-
tive to the dipped beam headlights for driving
during the daytime in countries where it is
compulsory to have lights on during the day, and
they are also permitted in those countries where this
is not obligatory.
Daytime running lights cannot replace dipped beam
headlights when driving at night or through tunnels.
The use of daytime running lights is governed by
the highway code of the country in which you are
driving. Comply with the prescriptions.

Press button A to activate the front fog light s. When the
front fog lights  are activated the 
5warning light is  lit
up in the ins trument panel. The front fog light s are acti-
vated when the dipped headlight s are on.
REAR FOG LIGHTS  fig. 42
To turn the lights  on press the button B with the dipped
beam headlight s on. With lights  on, the 
4warning light
on the ins trument panel will s witch on. Press the button
again to s witch the lights  off.

AFS ADAPTIVE LIGHTS  
(Adaptive Xenon Li ghts) fig . 43
The adaptive lights  (see “Headlights ” paragraph in thi s
chapter) are activated automatically  when the car is s tart-
ed. In this  s ituation the LED (amber) on button A will re-
main off.
Press button A to deactivate the adaptive light s (if acti-
vated); they  will be deactivated and the LED on button
A will come on cons tantly. Press AFS  button again to turn
the adaptive light s on (LED off on the button).
In the event of a system failure, an indication i s provided
on the ins trument panel by  the flashing of the 
fwarn-
ing light or the  fsymbol appearing on the di
splay  along
with a dedicated me ssage (for versions/markets  where pro-
vided).

1HEADLIGHTS
LIGHT BEAM ALIGNMENT 
The correct aiming of the headlights i s important for the
comfort and s afety of not only  the driver but all other road
u sers . This  is als o covered by  a specific rule of the high-
way  code.
The headlights  must be correctly  aimed to guarantee the
bes t vis ibility  conditions  for all drivers  while travelling
with headlights  on.
Contact a Lancia Dealer ship to have the headlight s prop-
erly  adjus ted.
Check beam alignment every  time the load or its distrib-
ution changes .
ANGLE  COMPENS ATION fig .69
The car is  fitted with an electric headlight alignment  sys-
tem. This  system i s operational with the ignition key
turned to MAR and the dipped beam headlight s on.
When the car is  loaded, it slopes  backward s. This  mean s
the headlight beam ri se s. 
In this  case, it is  necessary  to adjust the beams  using but-
tons  A and B.
The dis play pr
ovides  a visual indication of the pos itions
during adju stment. C
orrect positions dependin g on the load
Pos ition 0 - one or two people in the front  seats .
Pos ition 1 - five passengers .
Pos ition 2 - five people + load in the boot.
Pos ition 3 - driver + maximum permitted load  stowed in
the luggage compartment.

When the lane demarcation lines are not suf-
ficiently visible, covered or non-existent, the
driving advisor cannot help the driver and the
system will not be activated.The operation of the driving advi sor can be adver sely  af-
fected by  poor visibility conditions  (fog, rain, s now), ex-
treme light condition s (glare of the s un, darkness), lack
of cleanline ss or damage, even partial, to the wind screen
in the area behind the TV camera.
The area of the winds creen by the TV camera mus t not
be partly  or totally  obscured by  objects (e.g. stickers , pro-
tective film, etc.).
