■Illuminated entry system
The lights automatically turn on/off according to “POWER” switch mode, the pres-
ence of the electronic key, whether the doors are locked/unlocked, and whether
the do
ors are opened/closed.
■To prevent 12-volt battery discharge
If the interior lights remain on when the do or is
not fully closed and the interior light
switch (door position on/ off) is on, the li ghts will go off automatically after 20 min -
utes.
■Customization
Settings (e.g. the time elapsed before the lights turn
off) can be changed. (Custom -
izable features P. 5 7 2 )

Glove box
The glove box can be opened by pressing the lock release button and
locked and unlocked using the mechanical key.
Press the button.

The trunk opener main switch is located in the glove box. ( P. 6 0 )
CAUTION
■Caution while driving
Keep the glove box closed when not in use. In the event of sudden braking, an acci-
dent may occur due to an occupant being struck by the open glove box or the items
stored inside.

■Using the cup holder to store small items
■The position of the holder can be changed (front)
CAUTION
■Items unsuitable for the cup holder
Do not place anything other than cups or aluminum cans in the cup holders.
Other items may be thrown out of the holder s in the event of an accident or sudden
braking, causing injury. If possible, cover hot drinks to prevent burns.
■When not in use
Keep the cup holders closed. In the event of sudden braking, an accident may occur
due to an occupant being struck by the op en cup holders or the items stored inside.
NOTICE
■To prevent damage to the rear cup holders
Stow the cup holders before stowing the armrest.
Remove the holder.
Change the position of the holder.

■When using the holder as a bottle holder
●When storing a bottle, close the cap.
●The bottle may not be stored depending on its size or shape.
NOTICE
■Items that should not be stowed in the bottle holders
Put the cap on before stowing a bottle. Do not place open bottles in the bottle hold-
ers, or glasses and paper cups containing liquid. The contents may spill and glasses
may break.

Auxiliary boxes
Type A (if equipped)Press in the lid. This box is useful
for tempor
arily storing sunglasses
and similar small items.
Type B (if equipped) Press the button.
CAUTION
■Items that should not be left in the auxiliary box (overhead type)
Do not leave glasses or lighters in the box.
If the interior of the vehicle becomes hot, lighters may explode and glasses may
warp or crack.
