30.TEMPORARILY INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR ASSY
a. Temporarily install the air conditioning radiator assy with the 2 bolts and nut.

31.FULLY INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING RADIATOR ASSY
a. Full
y install the air conditioning radiator assy with the 2 bolts and nut.

32.INSTALL BLOWER ASSY (See OVERHAUL

33.INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSY (See step 19 in REPLACEMENT
)
34.AFTER INSTALLATION, CHECK WATER VALVE OPERATION
a. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
b. Set the temperature control switch to "MAX. COOL" and "MAX. WARM" and check the water
valve operates as shown in Fig. 66
.
If operation is not as specified, proceed to the next step.

HINT:
Push the water hose onto the heater radiator pipe as far as the second ridge on the pipe and
install the hose clip.
Install the hose clip in the position, as shown in Fig. 69.

11.REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSY UPPER
a. Remove the 2 nuts and 2 radiator brackets.

b. Remove the 4 bolts and 2 condenser brackets.

d. Remove the 4 bolts and radiator support sub-assy upper.

12.REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSY
a. Push down the 2 condenser brackets.
b. Push the radiator toward the engine.
c. Push the condenser toward the radiator and then pull it upward as shown in Fig. 96
.

3.INSTALL LOW PITCHED HORN ASSY
a. Place the stay onto the baffle part in the radiator support upper, and then install the horn with the
bolt.
Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)
b. Connect the connector.
4.INSTALL HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSY
a. Place the stay onto the baffle part in the radiator support upper, and then install the horn with the
bolt.
Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)
b. Connect the connector.

3.REMOVE V-BANK COVER
4.REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
5.DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE NO. 1
6.REMOVE TIMING BELT COVER SUB-ASSY NO. 3 LH (See step 18 in REPLACEMENT
)
7.REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
a. Remove the bolt, stud bolt and sensor.

8.INSTALL CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
a. Install a new sensor with the bolt and stud bolt.
Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf.cm, 66 in.lbf)
9.INSTALL TIMING BELT COVER SUB-ASSY NO. 3 LH (See step 33 in REPLACEMENT
)
10.CONNECT RADIATOR HOSE NO. 1
11.INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET NO. 1 (See step 145 in REPLACEMENT
)
12.INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
13.INSTALL V-BANK COVER
