■Auxiliary battery
●The anti-theft device has a built-in auxiliary battery, which is used when the vehicle’s
battery is discharged or has been removed. Make sure that you replace the auxil-
iary battery in good time so that the anti-theft device can function properly in emer-
gency situations.
●The replacement interval of the auxiliary battery will differ according to the envi-
ronment in which it is used. The auxiliary battery has a minimum lifetime of 12
months in normal use conditions. Comply with the replacement interval outlined by
your service provider.
■Certifications for the anti-theft device

An agreement (activation) with a service provider is necessary for
usage of the anti-theft device.
After making an agreement (activation), various services will be pro-
vided by the service provider, incl uding receiving position data from
your vehicle and preventing engine ignition.
