If the following message is displayed, take appropriate action and con-

Select the four-wheel drive control switch in L4 and
shift the shift lever to “D” or “R”.
Confirm the operating conditions.
Confirm the operating conditions to operate Turn
Assist function.
Turn on the Crawl Control switch to operate Turn
Assist function.

Resetting the tire pressure warning data
After adjusting the tire inflation pressure, be sure to initialize the data. (  P. 768)
If the message remains on, the system may have malfunctioned. Have the vehicle
inspected by your Lexus dealer as soon as possible. ■
Warning message in vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode of the dynamic
radar cruise cont rol (if equipped)
In the following cases, the warning message may not be displayed even if vehicle-
to-vehicle distance decreases: ●
When your vehicle and the vehicle ahead are traveling at the same speed or the
vehicle ahead is traveling more quickly than your vehicle ●
When the vehicle ahead is traveling at a very low speed ●
Immediately after cruise control speed is set ●
At the instant the accelerator pedal is depressed
NOTICE■
While the engine oil level warning is displayed
Continued engine operation with low engine oil will damage the engine.

the spare tire.
■ Before jacking up the vehicle
● Stop the vehicle on a hard, flat surface.
● Set the parking brake.
● Shift the shift lever to “P”.
● Turn off the 4-Wheel AHC. (  P. 320)
● Stop the engine.
● Turn on the emergency flashers.

Assembling the jack handle. Remove the jack handle and the jack extension bar from the tool box
and assemble by following these steps.
Loosen the screw using a
screwdriver.
Assemble the jack handle and
the jack handle extension bar
and tighten the screw. Check that the screw is firmly tight-
ened.
