■When the front passenger seat heater is operating
If the Heated Windshield Defroster is operated, operation of the front passenger seat heater will be suspended. Turn off the Heated Windshield Defroster enable the front pas-
senger seat heater. ( P. 543)
Each time the switch is pressed, the
operation condition changes as follows.
Hi (3 segments lit) Mid (2 segments
lit) Lo (1 segment lit) Off
The level indicator (amber) lights up
during operation.
■Operation condition
The rear seat heaters can be used when th e engine switch is in IGNITION ON mode.
■When the rear seat heaters are operating
If the Heated Windshield Defroster is operat ed, operation of the rear seat heaters will be
suspended. Turn off the Heated Windshield Defroster to enable the rear seat heaters. ( P. 543)
When any switch is pressed, the system
is set to automatic mode and the
“AUTO” indicator (green) lights up.
Each time the switch is pressed, the

●Illuminated entry system: The lights automatically turn on/off according to engine switch mode, the presence of the electronic key, whether the doors are locked/unlocked, and whether the doors are opened/closed.
●If the interior lights remain on when the engine switch is turned off, the lights will go off automatically after 20 minutes.
●In the following cases, the interior lights and front personal lights may not respond as
normal.
• When water, dirt, etc., have adhered to the lens surface • When operated with a wet hand
• When wearing gloves, etc.
●Some functions can be customized. ( P. 740)
NOTICE
●Never remove the lens for the front interior light and front personal lights. Otherwise,
the lights will be damaged. If the lens ne ed to remove, contact any authorized Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional.
●To prevent battery discharge, do not leave the lights on longer than necessary when
the engine is off.

WARNING
●Do not leave glasses, lighters or spray cans in the storage spaces, as this may cause
the following when cabin temperature becomes high:
• Glasses may be deformed by heat or cracked if they come into contact with other stored items.
• Lighters or spray cans may explode. If they come into contact with other stored items, the lighter may catch fire or the spray can may release gas, causing a firehazard.
●When driving or when the storage compartmen ts are not in use, keep the lids closed. In the event of sudden braking or sudden swerving, an accident may occur due to an
occupant being struck by an open lid or the items stored inside.

The depth of the front cup holder can be changed.
Cup holders

Pull down the armrest and then press
down the button.
To store a water bottle, push down the bottom
of the cup holder.
To return the bottom to its original position, press the button.
WARNING
●Do not place anything other than cups, aluminum cans, or water bottles in the cupholders. Other items may be thrown out of the holders in the event of an accident orsudden braking, possibly causing injury. If possible, cover hot drinks to prevent burns.
●Rear cup holder: When not in use, keep the cup holders are closed. Injuries mayresult in the event of an accident or sudden braking.

NOTICE
To prevent damage to the rear cup holder, stow the cup holder before stowing the arm- rest.

●When storing a bottle, close the cap.
●The bottle may not be stored depending on its size or shape.

Bottle holders
NOTICE
Do not place open bottle, glass or paper cups containing liquid in the bottle holders.
Otherwise, contained liquid may be spilled. Gl ass cups may break if used in the bottle
holders.
Coin box
WARNING
Keep the coin box closed while driving.
Injuries may result in the event of an accident or sudden braking.
