UNFOLDING THE SEATS
WARNING: Do not place cargo orany objects behind the seat backrestbefore returning it to the original position.Pull on the seat backrest to make sure thatit has fully latched after returning the seatbackrest to its original position. Anunlatched seat may become dangerous ifyou stop suddenly or have a crash.
1.Lift the seat backrest toward the rear ofthe vehicle.
2.Rotate the seat backrest until it engages,locking it in the upright position.
ACCESSING THE THIRD ROW SEATS
WARNING: Do not drive your vehiclewith a seat that is unlatched or in thefolded position. Failure to follow thisinstruction could result in personal injuryor death in the event of a sudden stop orcrash.
WARNING: Check under the seatcushion to make sure no cargo or objectsare under the seat cushion beforereturning the seat cushion to its originalposition, and that the seat cushion locksinto place. Failure to do so may preventthe seat from operating properly in theevent of a crash, which could increase therisk of serious injury.

This feature allows for easier entry and exitto and from the third row seat.

1.Pull the lever on the top of the seatbackrest up.
2.Tilt the entire seat forward.
3.Slide the seat forward until it stops.
To return the seat to the seating position,slide the seat rearward while pulling downon the seat backrest until the latch fullyengages.
To move the seat further back, pull the leverunder the front of the seat and slide itbackward.
Note: You must move the seat to the fullforward position before you move itrearward. Otherwise, the seat may not slideproperly rearward.
Note:You can slide the outermost seatsforward when using a child restraint.
Adjusting the Second Row OutermostSeats for Easy Exit
When exiting your vehicle from the third rowseats, pull the lever up on the upper cornerof the outermost seats. Then, push the seatforward until it stops.
POWER SEATS
ADJUSTING THE HEAD RESTRAINT
The third row outermost head restraints arefixed and cannot be removed.

Press the button on the head restraint or thebutton on the overhead console to fold thethird row outermost head restraints. Pull thehead restraint up to place it in the uprightposition.
Note:These head restraints fold when youpress the fold flat button.

WARNING: Do not recline a rear seaton which a child restraint is installed.Failure to follow this instruction couldreduce the effectiveness of the childrestraint.
The third-row power recline buttons are onthe quarter trim panel on each side of thevehicle.

Note:The power fold seats operate for 10minutes after you switch the ignition off. Thetransmission must be in park (P) and theliftgate, or liftgate glass must be open.Similar to the battery saver feature, thepower rear seats disable 10 minutes afteryou switch the ignition off.
Note:Be sure the third-row center headrestraint is in the lowered position beforeyou power the rear seats down. Thethird-row outermost head restraints foldautomatically when you press the foldbutton.
UNFOLDING THE SEAT BACKREST
To return the second-row seat backrest tothe original position, rotate the seat backrestup until it latches in the upright position. Theseat backrest clicks when it is locked intoposition.
To return the third-row seat backrest to theoriginal position, press the correspondingcontrol again.
Note:If the third row seat does notcompletely fold or unfold, press and hold theseat button until the seat folds and unfoldstwice.
If the power rear seat is disabled after 10minutes, you can enable the seat by:
•Opening any door.
•Pressing the unlock button on the keyfob.
•Pressing any keyless entry keypadbutton.
•Switching the ignition on.
Folding Down the Rear Seats to theLoad Floor
WARNING: To prevent possibledamage to the seat or seatbelts, make surethat the seatbelts are not fastened beforefolding the seatback.

The third-row seats have obstacle detectionthat prevents the seats from folding orreturning if they are obstructed.
MASSAGE SEATS (IF EQUIPPED)
MASSAGE SEAT LIMITATIONS
The engine must be running or the vehiclemust be in accessory mode to activate theseats.
This feature is disabled when the child safetylocks are on.
Allow a few seconds for any selection toactivate. Selecting a different adjustmentcancels the current one in progress. Whenthe seat backrest and cushion are bothactive, the massage alternates betweenzones.
SWITCHING THE MASSAGE SEATS ONAND OFF
You can adjust this feature through the reartouchscreen.
HEATED SEATS
HEATED SEAT PRECAUTIONS
WARNING: Use caution when usingthe heated seat if you are unable to feelpain to your skin because of advancedage, chronic illness, diabetes, spinal cordinjury, medication, alcohol use, exhaustionor other physical conditions. The heatedseat could cause burns even at lowtemperatures, especially if used for longperiods of time. Failure to follow thisinstruction could result in personal injury.
WARNING: Do not poke sharpobjects into the seat cushion or seatbackrest. This could damage the heatedseat element and cause it to overheat.Failure to follow this instruction could resultin personal injury.
WARNING: Do not place anything onthe seat that blocks the heat, for examplea seat cover or a cushion. This could causethe seat to overheat. Failure to follow thisinstruction could result in personal injury.
Do not:
•Place heavy objects on the seat.
•Operate the heated seat if water or anyother liquid spills on the seat. Allow theseat to dry.

The rear seat heat controls are on the rearof the center console.
Press the heated seat symbol to cyclethrough the various heat settings and off.More indicator lights indicate warmersettings.
Note:The heated seats may remain on afteryou remote start your vehicle, based on yourremote start settings. The heated seats mayalso turn on when you start your vehicle ifthey were on when you switched yourvehicle off.
Automatic Climate Controlled Seats (If
Equipped)
When you switch the auto setting on, theclimate controlled seats switch between theheated seats and ventilated seats to matchyour climate control setting.
VENTILATED SEATS
VENTILATED SEAT PRECAUTIONS
Do not:
•Spill liquid on the seats. This may causethe air vent holes to become blocked andnot work properly.
•Place cargo or objects under the seats.They may block the air intake causingthe air vents to not work properly.
SWITCHING THE VENTILATED SEATSON AND OFF
The vehicle must be running to use thisfeature.
Press this symbol on the climate controls orthe rear touchscreen to cycle through thevarious ventilation settings and off. Moreindicator lights indicate higher fan speeds.
Note:When you switch the climate controlfan speed and the ventilated seats to theirmaximum settings, the ventilated seatsprovide increased cooling.
If the engine falls below 350 RPM while theventilated seats are on, the feature switchesitself off unless the vehicle is inAuto-Start-Stop mode. You may need toreactivate the ventilated seats.
Note:The ventilated seats may remain onafter you remote start your vehicle, basedon your remote start settings. The ventilatedseats may also switch on when you startyour vehicle if they were on when youswitched your vehicle off.

SWITCHING REAR OCCUPANT
ALERT SYSTEM ON AND OFF
1.Press Settings on the touchscreen.
2.Press Vehicle.
3.Switch Rear Occupant Alert on or off.
Note:The default setting is on.
Note:Performing a master reset causes thesystem to switch on again.
Semiannual Reminder (If Equipped)
When you switch the system off, a messageappears every six months as a reminder thatthe system is off. You can switch the systemback on or leave it off.

Check rear seats for occupants.
Displays when you switch your vehicle offafter the alert conditions are met.
The message displays for a short period oftime. Press Close to acknowledge andremove the message.

To move the board into the divider position,lift up on the handle and position the boardvertically at a 90° angle.
Note:The board operates with frictionhinges. This allows you to put it in anyposition between a 0° and a 90° angle.
Cargo Shelf
To move the board into the shelf position,lift the board and move it to the horizontalposition. Once the board is horizontal, insertthe forward-facing nubs into the hooks oneither side.
For the short wheelbase, it is necessary toraise up the second panel toward the frontof the vehicle when you have the seatsfolded down.
For the long wheelbase, it is necessary toraise up the second panel toward the frontof the vehicle.
Note:Before moving the board into the shelfposition, you may need to flip down thehooks.
Note:Do not put more than 50 lb (22 kg) onthe shelf.
Rear Barrier (Bulkhead Position)
To move the board into the rear barrier orbulkhead position, lift the board and move itto the vertical position. Once the board isvertical, insert the rearward facing nubs intothe hooks on either side.
Note:Before moving the board into the rearbarrier or bulkhead position, you may needto flip down the hooks.
