Bl REMOVAL
Driveshaft
1. Remove the joint shaft

2. Remove the lower arm ball joint clinch bolt.
Caution
l Do not damage the ball joint dust boot.
3. Pry the lower arm downward to separate it from the knuckle.

l Do nut damage the oil seal.

4. Separate the driveshaft from the transaxle.

Removal note
Tie-rod end
1. Remove the cotier pin and loosen the nut until it is flush with
the end of the ball joint stud.
Caution
l Do not reuse the cotter pin.
2. Separate the ball joint from the knuckle arm with the SST.
Driveshaft
1. Remove the joint shaft.
2. Remove the lower arm bali joint clinch bolt.
Caution
l Do not damage the ball joint dust boot.
3. Pry the lower arm downward to separate it from the knuckle.
Caution
l Do not damage the oil seat.
